Talking about the constant dribble of crap to national & local media since January. We have done nothing proactive at all except to self lubricate. I had to lead several rather serious investigations in the military, some of which were ultimately lead to career ending outcomes. If someone from my team "leaked" information it would have lead to mine and the entire teams dismissal, a public apology to the Chain of Command along with another investigation to identify the leak. This NCAA investigation is a clown show.

Can't disagree with how poorly it's been handled. Alabama would have had a whole law firm of NYC sharks up their arse from day one and it would have been put to bed a year ago. I'm very disappointed in the chicken shite way we've handled this.

Maybe next time we'll do better.

Also if Slive had stuck around I don't think some of the BS would have happened like the immunity deal. Sankey is a weak arse pussy which was completely highlighted by the him letting Florida pull the shite they did this weekend.

I think it all stems fromy Freeze wanting to prove beyond doubt he is recruiting fairly. He and his staff have had a "frick it. Look wherever you want for how ever long you want" attitude.
They couldn't have expected it to take this long though

I think this is the case as well. I think we honestly thought we were doing everything by the books, which would explain the welcoming of the investigation.
It would almost appears that we thought we would be innocent of most of the claims (who knows, maybe we are?). Otherwise, why welcome an investigation and bend over backward to accommodate the investigators? If we knew we were guilty, would you be so open with investigators, or would you make it as difficult as possible for them? The problem is the investigators appear to be thinking subjectively instead of objectively, and have an Internet agenda that they're dead set to accomplish.

I agree Henry, and that's what it looks like. It's just a matter of when enough is enough. If that's the angle we were playing, then great, but we've let them take it too far now. Like Fg said, now they have an agenda and will blow small things out of proportion to come to the conclusion they are hell bent on.

Enough is enough when we are about to miss on one of the best home grown talents the state has seen in a while.
Cam Akers won't come here if this is sorted out before signing day.

It's not going to be. I've heard since July that the NCAA is in Oxford until March-April. They are watching us on the recruiting trail like a hawk this year.

So basically, we can't find anything but want to punish you by hurting recruiting?

"We have made our mind up you're doing something wrong. We have some vague evidence that we can't definitively prove, so we're going to hurt your recruiting by dragging this out."
