I immediately said "frick this. fricking ballgame. Bama is going to win 24-23 and everyone will talk about how hard we played only to come up short"
I was livid and convinced the next chapter in WAOM was about to happen. But instead the first chapter in WAMFOM was written.

I was FULLY convinced that our D would hold. After they had the play that got them a big chunk of yards i was freaking out a little.

The biggest thing to me was we missed the extra point and we got a chance to kick it again and we missed it again. It was a WAOM moment. I don't blame Freeze for going for it this year when we can't even make extra points.

Agree. I never thought I would ever see us have a team where I could say "We can beat everyone on our schedule"

That Arkansas run game is terrifying, but Bama is better at that and they also pass... Our d handled them well. I have a feeling our D will be fine in every game.

I literally got a sick feeling in my stomach.
I thought it had gotten out of control when Bama had the 14 play drive where they just kept pounding it to the left side. They eventually missed the FG. I still thought they had worn us down because we hadn't been able to do anything on offense.

No need to fear Arkansas. They are one dimensional and we have DL to sub in.
Think about this. Memphis beat Cinci 41-10. Cinci was picked to win the AAC. Memphis offense had 610 yards of offense.
Memphis had 81 yards passing and 23 rushing against our defense.
Our defense is legit. A top 5 defense. PERIOD.

I looked at Tony Conner ... He hopped off the bike, put on his helmet and I knew we were gonna win.
