Nothing good matters if you cannot win a damn game against an AAC team. This was a must win game. We were dominated. Who gives a crap if the defense was better. Football is a whole team sport.

You don't have to look very hard. We seem to be way better on one whole side of the ball... defense. It's way more than tiny. You should be at least Grateful for that much. Not much of a fan, you are. If we are still seeing the same deficiencies and having this same conversation at season's end maybe you'll finally be right or maybe you won't. Until then, mind your manners, junior

So this crowd saw nothing positive about that game?

Yes, of course if we look hard enough we could probably find some silver lining somewhere. But why? We need to be focused on expediting Luke’s termination rather than sifting through that abortion of a performance looking for tiny little moral victories. Get the frick out of here with that shite.

Some of you act as is you thought we were going to win and win easy when all you've been saying for weeks is that we weren't. Why act so outraged and shocked now? Or is that you are happiest when you are miserable? You could be a Tennessee fan.

Fantastic! We should definitely give them some type of ‘Most Improved’ award at the end of the season if it continues. That seems like just the type of warm and fuzzy participation trophy-esque recognition you’d be into. Unfortunately if you’re improving from ‘horrific’ to ‘a little better than horrific’, your improvement is a moot point because although you have improved, you’re still not adequately equipped to compete in the SEC (which is blatantly obvious from today). You’re failing to acknowledge that the relevance of improvement is relative to both 1) the state you’re improving from and 2) your competition. But yes, if you want to pat this team on the back for improving and completely ignore that this improvement will not translate to a good record, go for it. Just don’t expect people who give a shite about winning to agree with you. Hooray for moral victories!

Quite a strange one, you are. Do you always talk like Yoda?

Mind my manners? How about you just stop saying dumb shite and be a better poster? I may even award you ‘Most Improved Poster’ if you can be just a little better. Unfortunately, much like our defense, you’d only be getting upgraded from ‘horrific’ to ‘a little better than horrific’.

Because even though we thought Memphis would beat us, the way Ole Miss looked today was worse than expected. I expected Memphis to play a great game and just run past us a bit. What I didn't expect was to see Memphis play terrible and us not be able to compete. We looked like the lesser team. It was more than embarrassing. I had other people text me and offer their seats for the entire season. I've seen a lot of bad football as an Ole Miss fan but this team is horrendously worse.

You’re trying to reason with someone who is encouraged by the improvement they saw today and seems completely oblivious to how that perceived improvement will actually translate to wins and losses. So, in layman’s terms, a moron.

Ok, junior, so I have a serious question for you. In all seriousness... what would you do today, right this very minute, to make things better? And firing all the coaches one game into the season after losing a road game to a team that will likely be in the Top 25 tomorrow is not an option. Whatcha got? Enlighten us.

Mind my manners? Your attempts at pretentiousness are precious. Try again. I may even award you ‘Most Improved Poster’ if you can be just a little better. Unfortunately, much like our defense, you’d only be getting upgraded from ‘horrific’ to ‘a little better than horrific’.

Do you not think we had anything to do with Memphis looking bad (I assume you mean the Memphis offense looked bad)? That is a two-way street, of course. They weren't misfiring on air. They missed one guy deep who was open. Outside of that, our DBs played the ball pretty well and we tackled fairly well, our fits were pretty good, etc. I've not once said our offense was any good because it wasn't and that's a whole other story that's has to get way better and should with more game experience.

Oh okay, well that’s perfect then because we don’t need to fire all of the coaches, we just need to fire one: Matt Luke.

Anymore hard-hitting questions? Also, will you please start a weekly “Most Improved” thread? Who has time to keep track of such silly things like actual wins and losses when we have all of this improvement to be in awe of??

Again, I will mind my manners when you stop saying dumb shite. And I truly hope that begins to happen soon. But until then, eat a dick.

Haha, I see, I see. So you have nothing. That's what I thought. Eleven games to play, at least, and you have obviously thrown in the towel. I bet you were one hell of a player and teammate (I kid) if you attempted that at all.

You feel free to start that improvement thread, though, and I might chime in because you have nothing of substance to add and will need some help. Fandom is not your strength. I don't imagine you have many.

As we speak Cal is struggling with UC Davis and Mizzou is down to Wyoming.

And let's not forget the Tennessee loss to Georgia State and South Carolina's loss to UNC (we know who their OC is). Some of the "fans" on here act like we are the only team in the country who struggled today and want to blow the whole thing up.

Was wondering why Mizzou would even agree to play at Wyoming to start with. Worse than us traveling to Memphis. Glad that shite is over.

And I bet you were happy to just be on the team and didn’t really care too much whether you won or lost. Sorry bud, not everyone is content to have a closet full of participation trophies and bask in mediocrity.

I was a great teammate for many reasons, one of which was because if someone fricking sucked, I told them they fricking sucked. And if I was sucking, I was happy that I had teammates that would tell me and wouldn’t sugar coat it. Lying to me and telling me I’m doing fine didn’t help us win. Realism is what this team and our program needs, not bedside manner, i.e. “there there guys, you’re getting better don’t worry about it!”.

I’m glad I didn’t have guys on my team like you. You sound like a massive pussy.

^^^ OK, pipe down, Francis. It's gonna be OK. If our coaches are any good, they'll do what good coaches do. If not, we'll run them off in due time. Just not after one game of a college football season.I suspect they won't allow our team to quit like you'd obviously prefer. Fight on, keyboard warrior

Not fast enough. He needs to be gone now. I’m sure you think that your patience is admirable, but fans like you that are content and don’t have an urgency for winning are the problem.

Well I’d certainly hope not. If today is what it looks like when we haven’t quit, I’d hate to see what it looks like when we’ve given up.

See, this line is what gets me. "In due time" insinuates that they get more time after this season, which they shouldn't. Especially Luke since he is in his 3rd year

Nope, incorrect. Do a little homework. I said verbatim two days ago, this was Luke’s season to prove something. If we don’t see improvement the honeymoon is over. You are really, really bad to read and hear what you want to hear.
