He played SEC ball today. And Wilkins. DK had lots of yards.

And Breeland. We needed one more D player to step up today.

Yeah, he looked good but those turnovers lost us the game. Cooley having no ball security was inexcusable. He should sit for the next game.

Can't blame Cooley for losing that game. Not even close. Nevertheless, it certainly hurt. The late scoop and score couldn't haven been better gift wrapped. Before that, I was beginning to think we were going to at least hold on. I was also thinking, well we are going to hold on, but I won't feel great about how we managed to almost give it away. Then the fumble and man oh man. And you just knew when they got the ball with 4 minutes left down 2 we were done. Closing out games is not our thing to say the least.

As I've said over and over, a team with a semblance of a defense would have made that 31-7 lead yesterday stand, despite the turnovers and despite that it came with 10 minutes left in the second quarter. Let's all be honest, if we are looking for blame there's plenty of that to go around in yesterday's game alone. On defense, where was Haynes, any other linebacker besides Gates, and pretty much anybody on defense besides Gates and Speaks? Let us not forget the late pass interference call on Hartsfield. Arkansas was something like 14-19 on 3rd down yesterday. We had so many chances to get off the field throughout the game and we simply couldn't do it. But then, that's been the case for two years now.

All I heard all week was how terrible Arkansas is. They hate their coach, injuries abound, fans have lost interest. It was one more chance to begin salvaging the season to some extent and well, we couldn't beat lowly Arkansas once again. I don't really know where we go from here. I suppose we'll hope these college kids can put it behind them.

We lost because the defense blows. Yeah the turnovers hurt but up 31-7 in the second quarter? That’s all on the defense.

They gave us zero stops when we needed it.

We knew when the year started that our d sucked and we would have to outscore opponents to win. That's just who we are right now. When the offense quits scoring and starts to turn the ball over, we will lose.

What people are meaning to say...is after a couple quarters most half way competent DCs figure out our HS Offense and the game begins to unravel.

Maybe run the ball more when you're up 31-7 and let the clock run, and not leave it up to your pathetic defense wouldn't have been a bad idea either.

Why was Swinney in the game on the scoop and score? If we control the clock on that possession then the game is over. Wilkins is by far the most reliable back that we have and Swinney is getting the carries to seal the game.

Sure some of the blame could be on Ta'amu on the exchange, but Wilkins should have been getting the ball there.

Double agree 100% unless Wilkins's ankle wouldn't let him go. I have not heard.

14-19 on third down won the game for Arky.

I can't recall a % that high for ANY team.

It may have even been something more like 20-24 or 21 of 25. And there were a couple of 4th down conversions. Real head shakers.
