Not interested the BAMA DC unless he brings a high powered pass offense. As you are seeing this is the only way to be successful in this league

The admin should have lawyered up on day one of the investigation and gave Mark and his gang of thugs the finger.
UNC handled them the right way.

Well Arkansas finally made the right decision and fired Morris.... they’re gonna end up in a better spot than us. Our admin sucks

I think the exact same thing was said multiple times when they hired Morris.

Well they’ll have someone else and we’ll have Luke for another year.

Well it is the same admin that hired Morris. i think Norvelle should be the choice for them. I keep hearing he has baggage but surely it would have come to light by now. Leach would be another good one. Both of those would be upgrades over Luke. Arky has been a thorn in our side. hope they make a bad hire.

Why would he take that job? So many have failed. Memphis will bump him to 3million. What can Arkansas offer? 3.5-4? Is it worth that much more to risk killing your career?

I want to win football games, and if he’s the man to do it I would tolerate it. But I would be lying if I said I do not despise the man. And really I always did but had to keep my mouth shut until he shite his pants in front of the whole country. frick that son of a bitch.

That Bama DC can't field a good defense with all the 5 stars Bama has, I don't want him. I think the formula is finding an up and coming head coach who is winning at a high level and promoting them. This is what Freeze was doing. It wasn't SEC, but he was winning everywhere he went at every level.

Let him come in and if he has MS ties, good, but don't let that be the only qualification. Mullen didn't know the first thing about MS and won. But that is why you hire someone like a Siskey to head up your recruiting that can spearhead the relationships and finding the players. I feel like the formula is so obvious but for some reason we can't get out of our own way and just make it happen

We should be better than assistant coaches and coordinators. I would rather find a hot streak HC at a smaller school than to provide more on the job training to a former assistant coach by providing them their first head coaching gig. Leave that for the smaller schools.

I happen to agree. However, keep in mind that Tuberville, Cutcliffe, and even Vaught himself technically, were all assistant coaches when they were hired. All 3 turned out somewhat decently. Of course, so were Orgeron and Luke, so there are exceptions to every rule.

I think our fan base is a bit delusional about who we can pull in... Freeze was good for this program and it’s clear we were not allowed to be elite. Like a bunch of sore losers the rest of the SEC threw a tantrum and waved their arms crying “How can Ole Miss get these recruits?!” Honestly my outlook on college football changed after that and the corruption became clear. The market for OM is not as strong as other schools. It was a 6-year investigation lol. And what we did is nothing that isn’t happening at other schools and much of it was petty.

Right and they had to manufacture a payoff with lying Leo. Meanwhile Bama hands out new cars like candy. We should have lawyered up and said eff you Mark Emmert.

I’m watching the Indiana penn state game and Tom Allen needs to be our next head coach. They lost but penn state went for it 3 times on fourth down. He’s got his team playing really good with no talent.

No talent is key. He can't recruit for anything. That may work in the Big 10 but it will not work at all in the SEC. That would be a hire to attain mediocrity.

He had the 36th ranked class in the country last year. By far Indiana's best class in program history. Me thinks you don't know what you're talking about

Look, I don’t post much anymore... but dropping in to say this

Tom Allen would be a home-run hire and we would be lucky to have him. I’ve been saying this since we lost Freeze and seeing his success at Indiana only confirms my thoughts on him as a coach
