Don’t try to gaslight me. I’d rather not be inclusive with people who chose to join a club, but then want to change everything about the club, because they don’t like it or find it offensive. We’re the Rebels. Get over it.

I’m sorry for being such a dick, but we’re not on the college campus here. I’ve heard made up lies about the name “Ole Miss” and you may be right on Rebels, but at the end of the day Rebels is a generic term. It should stay. I’m triggered because I don’t want it to be a domino effect, where Ole Miss goes away.

I sometimes wonder if we could have kept From Dixie with Love if we hadn’t have screamed “THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!!” at the end. Probably not, but we really had no chance at keeping it at that point lol
If we could have inserted “TO HELL WITH LSU”, we might’ve had a chance. I think the LSU fans would’ve loved the attention. We’d all be in agreement.

We had our chance to keep FDWL, but you can't tell college kids what to do.
Can anyone older than me tell me when they first heard "THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN" hollered during FDWL? As I have understood it, it was a relatively recent invention.

I remember it happening in 2008.

I remember that game. First time I really got drunk. Me and a friend snuck a 12 pack of bud light into the rebel club.
