You must be talking to the girls in the Grove.

I don't know a single poster on tRant who wants to keep Luke. We appreciate his work, but he moves to another position on Friday.

It's just a vibe I've always gotten from him. Might not be that way, but it's how it feels to me.

If he loves it and sticks it out, cool. If not, I hope he finds what he's looking for elsewhere.

I'm trying to be politically correct.

Let me also say the last 2 games last season, and last 2 games this season -- at least our players are trying this year. We didn't have this last year when our defense played 2-hand touch vs. Vandy and The Moo.

I do appreciate the way he has kept the team invested and competing, especially after some tough losses early. He’s basically cleaning up Freeze’s mess — no defensive depth and bad coordinator hires. You can appreciate the effort Luke has given the program while also recognizing he isn’t the best coaching option. I don’t care what the sanctions are or how many other jobs are open, Luke isn’t the answer for OM.

Frost from UCF would be sweet, but I can't get my hopes up about anything coaching related

I can see Arkansas making a run at Gundy. Norvell seems like an option for Tennessee, Arkansas, and Ole Miss.

I am Matt Luke, and I don't think Matt Luke should get the job.

This is without question the biggest hire in program history. The only reason people want Luke is because they aren't patient enough to wait and let Ross do his damn job.

I met Mike Norvell at lunch today. I told him that I wouldn't mind seeing him in Oxford next season and he smirked.

I'm taking that as a positive.
