The only thing I’m sure of is that I’ll be a drunken mess by the end. Win or lose it’ll be a brutal game; we’ll either get shite stomped and never really be in it, or best case we win a tight one that goes down to the wire. Kiffin already alluded to playing with house money, so expect some hair pulling calls. After hearing that I got nightmares of the Bama “popcorn” comment.

I won’t state what’s in the back of everyone’s mind, but WAOM is actually on our side right now…

For once in my life I’d love to see the Rebs go into an opposing stadium and blow out a top ranked team and leave their fans scratching their heads. Bama 2015 was the closest thing until our defense stopped playing and made it a game.

That said, I don’t think that day is today. UGA’s defense has looked really good recently and playing there gives them a definite edge. I don’t see how we could manage to move the ball on the ground with any consistency. Judkins might break a decent run or two. Losing Pettus prob doesn’t help..

Harris will be double covered. Could Wade or Franklin show out?

What will be interesting is how does Lane call the game with the stakes being this high? Does he go for 4th and 1s on our own 30 early in the game? I think he will. I see us getting into some type of hole due to a bonehead play or bad call, blocked punt, and the damage will be done for us not to be able to catch back up.

If we had a Laremy Tunsil or Oher or Little on the line I’d feel a lot more optimistic. My realistic guess is 31-26 UGA wins with a late score by OM and failed 2 pt conversion.

Going back to my “for once in my life” wish wet dream scenario I’ll go with Rebs 38-20. Harris continues his fire streak. Wade has a big game. Judkins punches in 2 on the ground. Bentley punches in 1. Playoff talks. Would be nice eh?

My unofficial keys to the game.

Defense needs to swarm to the ball and also stop worrying about stripping the ball and allowing an extra 5-10 yards.

Need a BIG game out of Wade and Watkins

Keep tempo for the entire game on offense. This should help wear them down and hopefully ease the pain of our OLine issues.

Leave Charlie at the hotel.

Feels like it will be similar to the Alabama game except a little bit worse. 30-13 Georgia wins.

Ranting, just got off the phone with someone who was talking to a guy he knows(I know I know ) inside of the IPF. He messaged him saying Pettis told him at some point during the week that might could be able to play. You hear of anything?

Posted earlier in the thread but it needs to be repeated

I hope they practiced a bunch of UGA doing their D line shift right before the snap. That will drive me nuts to derail drives before they start bc of that

Some things you can bookmark. Many of you are aware of this and how this all works but for anyone who may be fairly new:

1) Any remotely close call in UGA’s favor will be reviewed. If the call on the field is an incomplete pass, you can disregard conclusive / inconclusive all that. We confirmed that in A&M when they had an incomplete pass, the nose of the ball clearly was touching ground, and yet the call was reversed even though nothing was conclusive (aside from the ball clearly touching the ground).

2) Forget close calls, if there is even a 4th an inches that is a 50/50 first down, those will not be reviewed for Ole Miss. You will be left scratching your head.

3) Expect at least 2 blatant facemask / roughing the passer no calls. This may be a combo of the two or 2 facemasks etc. The point is account for 2 no calls.

4) Holding does not apply to UGA’s offensive line. In fact, it is condoned. UGA will be charged 1 ceremonial holding call to make things look realistic.

I leave anything out?

Adding a phantom hold for a big OM drive to derail a possession

Good luck fellas. Y’all pray for me. I won’t be able to watch the beginning of the game. Going to meet my GF’s family to get their blessing to ask for their daughters hand in marriage. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch the 2nd half.

Trust me when I say that I unfortunately couldn’t schedule another time.

That’s exciting! Makes me want an OM win just so you can have that as a cherry on top of a huge day.

*tolerates. And I appreciate it. And if the sports gods do truly hate me as I’ve been led to believe through all these years…..we’ll play the most perfect first half of football we possibly can because I won’t be able to watch.

And that’s the gentlemanly thing to do. It may seem antiquated but I know my father in law really appreciated it. Best bear hug I’ve ever gotten

FWIW looking like Washington and FSU are coming away with Ws. Ugh.

Won’t matter if we lose but Michigan winning plus those outcomes doesn’t help our chances at playoff if we beat UGA and win out.

If this happens then you damn well better not watch the second half.
