Firing everyone from a different perspective

Wouldn’t we all agree Hugh Freeze is the Jimmy Swaggart of college coaching? Total hypocrisy of religion and sexual immorality.

Wouldn’t we all agree that Hugh Freeze’s arrogance turned the SEC against us and challenged the NCAA to find anything they could on us? Hugh sent out a challenge and gave our compliance email? It really turned many many people off.

Wouldn’t we all agree that Freeze broke our agreement with Houston Nutt and trashed him all over the place? That lead to the dam breaking with Nutt going all scorched earth on us.

So now, we find out just how bad Hugh Freeze was and we fire him. But his staff was not dirty? Did his staff cover up for him? Did his staff know about the corruption? Why did we not just clean house then?

Now on top of this being a staff which was put together by one of the worst humans ever to grace the sidelines of college football, and that is saying something, they are worthless without Freeze. Hugh was an evil genius who hired people who would comply and had enough skill to be able to carry out taskers. He was the missing link for this staff. They are worthless without him.

When you have a cancer you have to radically remove it. We left most of the tissue in place and basically did nothing but remove the tumor. We should have started with a clean slate and hired a new coach and let him hire his own people. We would be well on the road to recovery. Instead we are at ground zero. It will be another 5 years at this point.
