Those of us that followed Dave Childers already couldn't stand Neal. Neal is an asshat. He does not like Ole Miss and goes out of his way sometimes to say so. Well, apparently he got in an argument last night because his NBA team won and started insulting Ole Miss. Now he's deleted his Twitter account.

He always yaps about ole Miss fans being emotional yet when the thunder are losing to the kings in the 2nd quarter of game 18 of 82 he is equally as invested and just as emotional . The NBA is so garbage to me like I can’t imagine caring about this dumb shite .
Curious to see if they address this on the podcast . The podcast I listen too but mainly due to habit . They rarely say anything important and the first 20 minutes is always nonsense . I end up fast forwarding through and their 4 different ad breaks.

Some fan talked some shite to him about the thunder beating the heat and Neal comes back with a “sorry your team didn’t make it to Monday and it’s likely they won’t ever get that close again” mild paraphrase but you get it

Too me if you did not know Neal was a fair weather ole miss fan.. Known for years he was really all in for Ole Miss just the way he acts places. Got a feeling he will use this turn his podcast from Ole Miss focus to Birmingham Stallions focus on it. Noted right before this happen they drop already moving into that area.

He's never been an Ole Miss fan and will tell you straight up. He considers himself a journalist. But he needs to understand that he works for a fan site. Going out of his way to shite on Ole Miss is just a stupid business decision.

I like Chase and try to listen to their podcast occasionally because of him. Neal is unbearable 90% of the time. He has one of the biggest egocentric personalities I’ve ever seen. The conversation is always self centered and most of the time, he has nothing useful worth sharing. It blows my mind that Siskey can sit and share a room with him for an hour.

And we have fans that happily pay his salary but subbing to him. The guy that slammed Ole Miss repeatedly when Ed O was coaching us, so it wasn't like a surprise.
Folks need to cancel their subscription and stop throwing money at the guy. He'd get replaced quickly when sub numbers drop because of him.

I agree with you. Now that his kids have all grown.. he may be looking to try to branch out and get more mainstream or maybe do an NBA podcast or move elsewhere. Wouldn’t shock me at all. Especially if he continues to burn bridges/subscribers .. may not be much left to salvage

Neal kills me with his pity party rants about how tired he is from traveling….every single time, it’s 30 minutes of rambling about his busy schedule. No one cares Neal. You got an expense paid vacation to go write some stories in a hotel room to also go out at night to the bars.
