If I am being honest, all I want is for the East & West stands to match the South Endzone. They do that which should expand capacity to 70-75K and I am content.

I agree, the luxury boxes will get the most donation money in order to make those expansions possible.

Not too many people are going to donate money for an upper deck for the students to sit in. But they will put up big bucks to have an opportunity to have their own box for the game.

I do not want the sidelines to match the endzones. I want the endzones to match each other and the sidelines to match each other. Personally, I hate that wrap around box concept that a few people have drawn. Not only does it look very strange, it completely restricts what you can do with the stadium.

This is pretty much where I stand although the most important thing to me is that the East and West sides follow the same architecture precedent that the SEZ made.

The final expansion should be a close to exact mirror of the SEZ in the North, but the East and West expansions/renovations should allow for around 10k more fans combined imo. If each hypothetical upperdeck/suites hold 5k we would be at close to 75k without having mirrored the SEZ. I think that number is completely realistic within the next 15 years with good leadership like we have.

The most important thing is that the East and West sides look 1st class and create conformity around the stadium. Ole Miss is in a unique position where we have been so behind with facilities that we haven't done irreparable damage to the stadium by building huge, expensive, and dated additions (I know we have dated boxes that would be $$$ to tear down but nothing on par with what LSU or A&M had to do).

If we slowly invest in quality vs. quantity and make our concourses on par with A&M/Bama, we have a shot at having a jewel of an SEC stadium.

I will say this. They have a home game in less than two weeks. They better start taking down some fences and cleaning shite up. And the walkway from the grove to the stadium is all a dirt construction area right now. Even if they take the fences down tomorrow and landscape tomorrow, it's still gonna get torn up. I'll ride back by in a few days, but they appear to be a good bit behind on that stuff

Yeah no need to spend all that money on great permanent lights if you plan on tearing down the structure in the next 10 to 15 years.

I don't think they plan on doing anything for the walkway from the grove to the stadium that's just going to be a pain in the arse for this year (like the pavilion was when it was under construction). As for the area around the stadium If they plan on letting people into the NEZ for the pep rally Thursday night then they better hurry up and get done with it.

Well, this year is going to be a fricking disaster trying to go from the grove to the game then. They have been working on that for a solid 4 months. I've been laughing at it every time I see it.

It won't really be a disaster unless it rains and it's not like we aren't used to overly muddy pregame festivities.

It's going to be okay everybody. So you'll have to walk a different path to get to the stadium. Big deal. It's still a massive improvement.
