Here's my favorite thing about Kelly so far:

He makes Quincy shine because of his ability to throw deep. Quincy is a speedster. He beats the D all the time. I'm glad to have a QB that can get it to him when he does. Bo could never do that and I think that's why Quincy had a lackluster first two seasons. He's about to break out with Kelly throwing to him.

Quincy and Pack will now make Treadwell and String even more dangerous.

We threw the deep ball because their DBs were slow and hesitant. So we could burn them. But we're not gonna be able to burn AL, AU and LSU consistently. But they will have to give enough cushion to respect Kelly's arm. And that makes Treadwell a workhorse.

I love how Freeze & Co. sandbagged everyone until now about MGK. I was hoping that was what he was doing, but I didn't really know enough to be sure.

Looking back on it now, it's a beautiful troll.

It was definitely a troll. He was attempting to give Bama something else to prepare for. The plan was once we got up 28-0 to put DK and RB and hope they did well so the "qb controversy" could continue.

Definitely not as consistently as we did the cupcakes, but I'm confident we will get some downfield passes against AL and AU. Their secondaries are extremely suspect. OL just has to give CK time.

LSU has a legit secondary and a scary front 7. They'll be the toughest defense we face all season. Judd and Wilkins will be required to put in a ton of work against them.

I agree with all of that.

Beating bama will require production out of the OL/running game. If we get something there, then that opens up the deep ball to AttaboyJoe and suddenly the immediate passing to Treadwell and string

But boy oh boy Joe would it ever be nice to get Tunsil back. And I also wonder to what extent are we hindered by not having the services of Tee Shephard for the first half against Alabama.

Judging by Coker's performance so far - not much.

He's second string behind Webster, anyway.

If we can keep it close at the half, he'll help us out with fresh legs in the second, though.

Webster looks like a strong safety out there, due to his size and how physical he is. I see why Wommack has been saying he's our best corner.

His lone int hit Treadwell in the hands, and someone dropped a nice 30 yd pass yesterday too.

That was Pack.

We've had a ton of uncharacteristic drops so far.

He's referring to the 30 yard strike that hit Pack in the numbers but he dropped it.
