If he tells the team anything, either way (staying or leaving) we should know pretty soon after practice.

My wife just had the greatest take on the lane situation. I gave her a decent cliffs notes of the last month or so(she’s also watched the special and a bunch of other appearances from him) and her opinion is he’s having a difficult time trying to step out of the shadows of his father. With him not around anymore, he doesn’t have that figure around to tell him how proud he is of Lane and how he’s doing such a great job. It really does make sense if you think about all the publicity he’s brought upon himself over the last year.
With that mindset, you’re always trying to figure out the next thing and become easily restless.
