I'm going to LMAO if his answer to THE question is something along the lines of, "I don't really talk about that during the season. I don't think about those things."
I can say for certain that if this happens, I will probably be done with him

I am officially numb to whatever outcome this saga is. I have to prep my body for the potential Wolf of Wallstreet “I’m not leaving” troll heading in LSU’s direction. I don’t think it’s over but I refuse to get excited.

Barely glanced at twitter and Florida fans are still in fantasyland

Man it’s weird, I’ve never seen the fanbase this loony. The last few coaches broke some people’s brains.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I talked to a longtime family friend who’s fairly well connected to the University. What he said makes sense to me, and it’s not breaking news, just color on the situation.

Kiffin genuinely wanted to push this shite out and not talk about it until after the season. Sexton, of course, had an open ear and was accepting calls, but Kiffin himself didn’t want to touch it. He never gave another program a list of demands or anything else; he literally hasn’t said shite to them. Sexton did tell them, “This is what he’s looking at from Ole Miss. If you’d like to one-up them, I’ll take it to LK.”

This gets blown up and becomes the number one talking point in all of CFB. Carter pushed LK to shite or get off the pot because our program is more than one man, and we can’t be left holding our dicks if he does decide he wants to move on. With us making the CFP, he can’t sit around and wait until after the season like he wanted to. This was expressed last week at some point. LK was forced to explore the FL/LSU offers starting Sunday as he’s being pushed to make a decision. He didn’t frick with it earlier and maintained that he was 100% committed to the team and beating Florida first. It was not an ultimatum, just a “Here’s our position. We want to know ASAP. Try and not frick us and do the right thing.” So he’s just now truly exploring his options. He believes he’s always leaned staying, but like any rational person, he has to at least hear out his other options.

So all the Florida and LSU sources stating this and that were total bullshite. The man himself hadn’t considered them when they were tweeting that it was a done deal. He was not happy, as the internet rumors and podcasters are the ones who ignited this thing. Their sources were just regurgitating whatever Sexton had them believe.

It wasn’t nearly as toxic as we were led to believe. He’s just weird as frick and didn’t squash the rumors sticking to his “after the season” policy. Ole Miss and the big donors weren’t happy, but that was related to him not instantly signing an extension with us after we’ve done everything the man has ever asked and about to make his great-grandkids even more wealthy. It was not due to him actively flirting with the other jobs, he just didn’t turn them down. They were not distracting him from coaching, recruiting, etc.

He thinks we will know sooner rather than later. LK’s exploring the options now vs after the season like he wanted to. The family will play a big role, just as they did last time (explains the trips).

He didn’t think he was leaving and still believes that as of this morning. That said, he ended with the caveat that anything can happen as Sexton is actually working with the other programs this second vs just listening to offers and relaying. Us making the CFP works heavily in our favor, it will take a LOT for LK to throw it away. He wants to go and he wants to win it. Keith knows this, and it’s our leverage to push him into a decision.

So, that’s the recap from yet another anonymous internet shite poster’s inside source. It makes me feel better at least, not regarding if he stays or goes, just that he wasn’t being scummy…just an inconsiderate weirdo.

As someone who has been to every SEC venue besides the bottom 4 I would never judge a base by Twitter. However, Tennessee and Florida have some fricking horrible fans online.

Ole Miss burner verse is probably the funniest. State fans seem the nicest on Twitter. LSU has a blend of serious and retarded

I believe this to probably be true and it coincides with a lot that I have heard myself.

And this is why much of my vitriol is with Jimmy. Lane should’ve shut his arse down though. He did after the Auburn fiasco.

Agree 100%. UT is definitely the worst but Florida surprised me quite a bit. They are more similar to each other which is probably why they hate each other so much.

I would agree with this sentiment too but LSU has some funny accounts. They definitely take crazy to the next level.

And it also seems that UGA and Alabama fans online are all just extremely serious.

Edit: I guess it’s smart to drive up the ratings for the show as the Kiffin segment is 15 minutes late already .

Edit: here we go

They’re probably the least active, and they’ve always been neutral with LSU.

I’ll see Tennessee fans harass a Texas A&M volleyball spot. They have an army of 300 lb trolls that are relentless.

Lane has the aura of a frat guy who isn’t comfortable at all in a public speaking class who is just winging it for his required time in front of the class

He's either staying or trying to put on good PR and claim to be the victim and I don't know which.
