The people that can get shite done on this are all in town as of an hour ago. Either way I think we’ll have some clarity before too long. If Lane keeps tripping over his own dick after this, I don’t care where he lands.

Tbh I don’t care either way. I think he’ll be here at the end of this, but I can’t say I feel the same way about him staying here as I did a month ago. He clearly didn’t learn a damn thing from the Auburn incident.

The biggest thing that concerns me is how quiet LSU has been lately. I don't trust the Cajun contingent to not try to frick us all while OM and Florida are going at it.

I want him to stay. But we need a resolution sooner rather than later and we need to increase the buyout substantially so we stop going through this every single year.

If I have a choice between 10 wins a year and coaching drama or 8 wins a year and no drama I’m choosing 10 every time.
I haven’t seen a single candidate that I’m confident could sustain his high level of success and with the transfer portal it’s way less important to have coaching stability than it was 5 years ago.

I believe that all parties have to reach some decision this week regardless of Lane's cosmic vibes and feels. The signing period is in early December and we are already halfway through November.
