Guess he made the right call leaving early.

Mel Kiper siad he's the most underrated defensive player in the NFL draft. Pretty cool to hear that from Mel Kipers draft profile of Breeland.

Makes me really worried about our D line next year.

He came on strong towards the end. Early to mid season he wasn’t providing much.

Congrats to him. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy

Haynes in the 4th to Carolina.

Wilkins in the 5th to the Colts.

Definitely seemed like a bit of a reach for the Chiefs, but good for Breeland! Happy he made the right decision and got paid

We had 2 players on defense drafted?

And I thought our best player on D last year was D. Gates.

Not only that, but we had two defensive players taken before we had two offensive players taken. Breeland was projected to be a third hopefully, and he got taken mid-2nd with the Chiefs’ first pick. Haynes went a round earlier than many projected. Wilkins got drafted despite missing an entire season due to our own academic skulduggery. Rod Taylor got drafted despite hurting himself playing pickup hoops and the whole Walmart charcoal thing. AJ Moore is on the Patriots squad now. Considering we weren’t supposed to expect more than a 3rd round selection, the Rebels surprised. Obviously it’s not the same as having 3 in the 1st, but we also quietly went about our business and didn’t have an, “I’d have to say yeah” moment
