He made up for it by beating Alabama and winning a Sugar Bowl.

You are correct. And it didn't come down to "missed calls".

At this point, Memphis is a better team. Better players, better coach, better program. At this point. That should change in the future, but at this point, Memphis is the best team in Tennessee, Arkansas and North Mississippi. And possibly all of Mississippi.

Although I did see a sign last night that said "We Want Bama." No... no you don't.

Yeah two third down and longs that were converted by bad calls had absolutely nothing to do with the out come of the game. Take your head out of your arse.

If I'm not mistaken, at least one of the bad personal foul calls on Williams, and there were only two, helped a good bit with Memphis ultimately scoring a touchdown. And there were only two of those as well. Yeah, I'd like to think we don't get burned enough by 2 or 3 bad calls to get beaten by a Memphis, but when that's where you are, 2 or 3 bad calls makes all the difference in the world. Sorry.
