I live near Starkville. Of course I bow hunt

I agree about You needing new friends. That's shitty. I love to hunt and kill stuff as much as the next guy but you have to respect for the animal you're killing or you need to find a new hobby. I knew a guy who would spotlight and shoot deer and just leave them laying there. We didn't associate long.

I may or may not be going to Arkansas tomorrow to shoot at a black bear.... I need a rug

Thanks. I've eaten one before and you're right its not very good... didn't realize that about the smell though...

I've never killed a bear, certainly not with my bow, so I'm excited for the opportunity

I've never understood predator hunting unless the animal was posing a problem/threat.

And you're talking about killing our mascot...

I've never now hunted, but I was gonna try it out this season because my uncle gave me his old bow. Some motherfricker stole it out of my closet during a party in the spring though

I'll be waiting til primitive weapons season and using my 45-70. It really hadn't been fair since the legalized those

Gotcha. It was that TN opened on the 28th.

ETA: The only reason I know this is because one of our friends with whom we camped last weekend went Saturday morning.

I'm at work now...

And the wind is going to be wrong for the spot I wanted to hunt this afternoon. I'll probably spend the afternoon setting another spot up.

The plan was to hunt my uncles land outside of Tyler town during primitive weapons, but it looks like I'm having knee surgery soon.

1. Fix knee
2. Get a crossbow
3. Murder Bambi's parents
4. Send meat to LBs and get 2 stuffed back straps wrapped in bacon + 4 packs of jalapeño cheddar sausage
5. Send said back straps abd sausage to beHop to thank him
6. Profit
