I know we all like to hate on him, myself included, but things like this help me realize he's just another one of us who loves his school.

I'm sure he wishes he could take his infamous comment back, and I'll try not to to be so hard on him in the future. Let's frick up UW tomorrow.

I forgot what his comment was. I dislike him because of his play.

In the time it has taken me to type this message, he has had a minimum of 3 false start penalties called on him.

His comment about being relieved after we lost to South Carolina because the pressure was off.

His play was nothing to write home about either, it's just become so ingrained in our fanbase to hate him that people forget he was a local kid who genuinely loved this school.

re: The loss to USCe

"I'm glad we lost now we can just get back to playing football."

eta: He looks way smaller in that pic than the last time I saw him.

If you dislike him because of his play...then remember that he is starting in the NFL. Now, try to figure out what it is specifically you know more than the NFL.

It's hard NOT to hold and/or get false starts when we had a coach calling stupid fricking play actions on 3rd and very long when everyone knows we're going to throw the ball.

I never really hated him but always thought it was funny to keep the running jokes going about him. Truth was he just wasn't ready for that stage for that USCe game. He was playing TE the year before. I think Auburn is gonna get a taste of it this year. You take that great LT for granted and expect a Oher/Robinson output but those guys don't come around every day.

Played golf with him once. He's a prick. And he looks like a douche in that picture.

All I ever heard about Sowell is in line with that statement. Plus I drove freaking 16 hours roundtrip, skipped 3 days of class, and spent money to go to USCe and see us get embarrassed. Unless he wants to write me a check for money + psychological damages, I'll forever think Sowell sucks.

I remember Sowell giving up two sacks to Southeast Louisiana the week before.

I think Arizona took a gamble that he would improve. Not sure he has improved that much.

Actually Sowell is battling Bobbie Massie for the right tackle spot. Not sure what they did at left tackle.

What? I'm no fan or defender of Sowell but Norwood was a monster.

2009 stats:
81 tackles (11.5 for loss), 7.0 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries, 3 blocked kicks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Not to mention being named first team AA.

Ok. I apparently had someone else in mind. I could have sworn Norwood got injured a game or two after they played us and didn't do very much.

At least 3 of his sacks on the season came against us.

Wasnt that the game where Nutt waited until the 3rd or 4th quarter to run Dexter? I seem to remember them not being able to stop Dexter running but we waited so late to do it that we didnt have enough time to come back
