While I don’t necessarily like the idea of having someone on the team who wanted to leave( 1000% about money), these guys need to be taught accountability and commitment. They will appreciate the pose traits later in life.

Happens in the NFL all the time. Don’t like it? Don’t sign the contract. Sign the contract? Grow a pair and play it out like a man.

I mean Washington and FSU both did this like a week ago
Exactly. LSU has tried to take players who recently signed contracts 2-3 times now and got shoved in a locker

For legal people on this board, approximately how long are we expecting this appeal process to take?

Depends on how quick we can get a hearing. No idea in Mississippi - could be a week. Could be a month.

On3 and 247 are both currently saying that Lee will be back as long as Trinidad is our starting QB. But is doing this to protect himself because he doesn't want to go into his make or break NFL season with a new starting QB.

So is he thinking we find something out soon on Chambliss’ situation?

LSU Is going try getting him to do like the player Miami did.. just enroll and not go thru portal. That could come back to bite any program getting players like that if ask me.

This is a really good get. He put up solid numbers this year with Syracuse having terrible QB play for most of the season.

The Wisconsin player just had a NIL deal. No rev share. That distinction may be a big difference. It has been so far this year

Bingo can't tell that too other side rev share is not the same as normal NIL and changes everything.. Cause it ties to school and clearinghouse.. So if try too enroll at LSU and them pay him they would be self reporting shady stuff and it will get red flag

Well the portal should be closed now. Wonder who we officially signed and lost

We can still get players that entered the portal to come back as long as they haven’t signed anywhere. But it feels good knowing we didn’t lose anyone that was a cornerstone so far. Dottery sucks and losing Caden Lee would hurt worse than any of the others

Lee brings a ton of experience. I always fear he is going to get his head knocked off but he always pops right up. He gets open , has reliable hands. Production fell off a lot this year but we had Wallace and Strib. Dottery I’m honestly meh on. His physical limitations were clear against Miami, and someone else noted it that strip was clutch against Arkansas but yeah.. Princewill and Lee would be biggest losses IMO..

I think we need to run the ball at Dottery 30 times next year and let Hasz or whoever is tight end have a career day. His best trait was being able to direct the defense and that won't be part of his job description at lsu.

Not too concerned about losing tj diddy. Obviously he was the green dot and important in that regard but he left a lot to be desired as far as his performances go. I don’t think he should be someone were really upset about losing (honestly we shouldn’t be upset about losing any non DL defenders)

So if the portal is closed, did Lee actually enter or not?
