I think the original plan was to join Tupoi at Cal which is probably more ideal but perhaps that crowd wouldn’t enjoy the square

What is the purpose of committing in the transfer portal? If you’re taking offers, just wait until you sign to say where you’re going.

No idea to be honest. None of it matters until we see the week 1 roster.
Edit: On3 is saying that he was being brought in as a depth piece for us. Someone else has offered him a starting LB spot so he's jumped. If that's true, I don't really blame him for that.

Same here was happy for him.. We just need make sure signed everyone els we got in the portal atm.. The whole signing is portal is freaking weird..

Devin Harper has entered the portal. That one will be interesting to watch since he signed a contract last week and re-upped with us.

Yep. It's all just the wild west. We'll put together a competitive team - we'll just deal with some frickery to get there (like every team every year does in the current system).

I wouldn't read anything into it. We played Thursday night. Flew home Friday morning. Probably had some individual meetings over the weekend and this morning to discuss where players stood next year. Players hitting today makes perfect sense from a timing perspective

Yeah players leaving today makes me think we either told them they won’t play as huge a role as they had assumed they would or they aren’t getting the $ from us that someone else is offering.

A part of the 24 class of in state DL we signed. Hasn’t panned out at all so im not surprised by this. Wonder if we basically told him to move on
