What’s everyone’s opinion on the pitch clock?
I think I like it but I know I’m going to be pissed when we inevitably get screwed by it.

Y’all’s first 6 weekends of SEC play is absolutely brutal

Life in the SEC for ya. Gonna be even tougher when OU and Texas join

I love it. There’s nothing worse than a hitter that steps out of the box after every bitch and adjusts his gloves, takes a half arse swing, grips the bat real slow, stares at the bat and takes a deep breath before stepping back in. Its not a part of the game that I will miss at all and if you need to do that between every pitch, you shouldn’t be playing anyway

We have a two-game mid-week series with Louisiana Tech this week. They've made the postseason in consecutive seasons.
They appear to be struggling offensively. They're hitting .230 as a team. However, Phillip Matulia is hitting .320/.370/.960 with 5 HR and 11 RBI.
I don't know what pitchers we'll see but they've only issued 20 walks in 7 games, which is pretty damn impressive. Conversely, we've walked 46 batters in the same amount of games.

Texas A&M is the worst at this.

Anyone have a Hunter Elliott update? Surely he had an MRI by now.

We scheduled a strong OOC schedule this year. The players are definitely getting good experience early

We play 25 different opponents in 2023. 9 of them made the tournament, 4 of them made the Supers, and 3 of them made Omaha last year.

One player in our current batting lineup comes to mind haha

Most of the pre-pitch routines from the batter or pitter don't bother me. It's part of the rhythm of the game.
Now what does bother me is Peyton Chatagnier swinging at every first pitch no matter where the ball is thrown.

Hope we get some redemption Friday night in Minnesota against the Maryland ace who stuffed it in our arses last weekend

That dude's 2-seamer was en fuego. We were just hitting grounders to short and second, as planned.

They appear to be struggling offensively.

We have put 54 on base (46 BB, 8 HBP) in 7 games this year. That's a lovely 7.7 per game.
We've only played 58 innings this year. We're almost averaging one free pass per inning.

He’s had one. The latest last week was they were waiting on all the different opinions to come back in before they said anything.

Quinn has faced the minimum through 3. Odd feeling after the last few games
