We really can't afford to keep making stupid baserunning mistakes. Especially when we have a junior college pitcher as our Friday night guy. Every run is extremely important for us.

Thank goodness Auburn's pitching and defense is much worse tonight. Glad our bats decided to show back up as well.

We jumped on Auburn early and our pitching was solid in the later innings. Good start to conference play against a solid team on the road.

All of our starting pitchers are absolute trash. Just start all of the freshmen at this point so they can get experience.

I hate it, but truth is Diamond is just a bullpen guy, good for about two innings. He couldn't hold onto a starting role last year, and he's only starting this year because there just ain't anybody else. As of right now, pitching will the this year's excuse why we don't make Omaha. Things change, though, so maybe they will.

The ol big boy from Auburn is not as big as Ben Van Cleve, though their builds are quite similar. Their power, however, is not.

I don't even think we get out of a regional at this point. We might have the worst starting pitching in the SEC. Our bats can't win every game for us and they go cold for too many games like tonight. If Auburn had competent fielding then they beat us last night.
