It's going to be tough for Curtis to get notoriety on a defense loaded with stars like Robert Nkemdiche, Tee Shepard, John Youngblood, Tony Connor, Tony Bridges, etc. but he's going to be a monster. I refuse to believe otherwise.

By the time Curtis is a big time player most of these guys will be gone

Not one of those guys is a lb. Seems like he needs time in the weight room, but I doubt any of the players you listed has anything to do w/ when he sees the field.

No time to RS. He's got to be ready for 2016. It will be him, Temario and a true freshman as our only returning ILB. We don't need two of our three ILB to be completely green.

Connor, once rated a top five prospect in the state of Mississippi’s 2016 class by 247Sports, recently plummeted down the rankings during a re-order of the Magnolia State’s recruits. The drop in rankings came during an injury plagued 2014 for Connor, who suffered a broken leg in his spring game and was hospitalized during the season for a heat-related illness. He is now rated as the No. 27 player in the state of Mississippi by 247Sports, though his 247SportsComposite ranking still has him as the state’s No. 6 overall prospect. “I haven’t looked at it, but my coaches and some other people told me about,” Connor told Rebels247. “I’m not really going to comment on it. There’s no need in it. I’ll just say that the rankings make me motivated. It’s just a motivator for me to work even harder and longer. That’s all I can say about it. I’m working in the weight room every day, and I’m running in my weight vest every day. I’m just even more motivated.” Connor is so motivated that one North Panola assistant coach got a phone call from him Sunday afternoon. The coach was summoned to the school to put Connor through a grueling workout. “I guess I have something to prove,” Connor said. Connor also wanted to clear the air on something else. “I had heard about some rumors floating around a couple of weeks ago,” he said. The rumor was that Connor, a longtime Ole Miss commit, was contemplating flipping his commitment to Mississippi State. He says, emphatically, the rumor was unfounded. “No one has to worry about me flipping to Mississippi State,” Connor said. “I’ve been Ole Miss since I was in ninth grade. That’s not true. Mississippi State is still recruiting me a little bit, but I’m solid with Ole Miss.

Starting Eli would have just been a nod to the good ole boy racist Network.
