Shyheim Carter will be our next commitment. Then it'll be Deontay at the AA game. It shall be done.

So it shall be written,

Does Carter have a date for his announcement?

True but I'll take
Simmons
Carter
Anderson
Davis
Just to ease my pain.

Not feeling good about Drake Davis...almost feels like we have a better shot at only 1 WR commit in 2016, than taking 2-3. I know we still have hope for AJ, Drake, and Nate, but it seems all 3 are headed elsewhere.

My gut feeling too....however what did the Elitist do that pissed off AJ? Something about threatening his family or something? Here is a reference to it:

It's our fans, too. MarketingDawgs dumb post in the deleted thread from earlier may have just lost AJ.

I don't know why people want to give these guys such a hard time. I know you hope that those within the area would want to stay and go to school nearby, but these kids now have a chance to choose who they want to play for and they will usually want to go where they feel they have the best chance of making a huge impact. CHF has shown he can bring in some big time recruits and that he is capable of beating state and even Alabama.
Why wouldn't every Mississippi recruit not at least entertain the idea of what could happen if all the 'Sipp boyz played together. They just beat the Alabama all star team without the number one Mississippi QB. Both the QB that is presently at Ole Miss and the one being recruited to Ole Miss are better than the Mississippi number 1 QB.
Think of the possibilities. We've always known that 3 D-1 schools have made it difficult to pool the best in state players, and now people are getting so upset they are writing a bunch of garbage they don't mean.
It is sad, but it's Mullens' fault for the way he has built the wall. Instead of relishing the fact that both schools were successful, he's made people act out of hate toward the other school.
We are all Mississippians and there is no room for this kind of behavior toward these young players.

So is Justin Connor really the #3 RB in the nation? Why isn't he talked about more

Rivals has him rated that high became of their rivals/Under Armor camps. He had the second highest sparq behind Knott who had the second best ever. Rivals thinks he's an elite athlete while scout and 247 think he lacks top end speed so it's kinda odd.

TL,DR
Mullen built State program on hate. Leads to State fans threatening kids/families for not going to hometown favorite school.
Not normal Twitter threats, real-life economic repercussion and physical harm threats. Like CJ Johnson got.

Agree with the top end speed. Watched his rivals footage and be broke several 15-20 yard runs but never really outran anyone for a touchdown. The long TD runs he had were when he had a lead blocker In the endzone with him. He would typically run 15 yards then step outta bounds when 2-3 caught him

Hey Quicksilver..... Are you making that statement that AJ is not signing with Ole Miss to Ole Miss fans or Mississippi State fans. Just wondering....
How many times do you make a statement to make it fact.
AJ a great player that may very well end up at MSU....but it won't be very much fun there over the next few years.....An obvious down year on the way and a pending coaching change and stuff...not very fun at all. No to mention a very unimaginative offense that does not feature effective passing game...not fun at all.
Make no mistake we want Brown to be part of a high profile offense that will FEATURE him as a go to guy....will make him a top draft choice when the time comes. Still... I understand the pressure in Starkville is great and the threats on his family is a real thing.

One could also argue that he would be behind some pretty stiff competition for a couple years and wants more of an immediate impact.

I don't understand the first half of your post, and while your rationale has a flaw (Dak finished 2nd in passing in the SEC), it doesn't really matter.
Enjoy the drama but AJ isn't signing with us.

I know recent history is against us when it comes to recruits close to Stark Vegas but why are you so adamant that there is no way Brown signs with Ole Miss? Do you have inside info or something?

I don't have twitter, but my buddy showed me AJ's feed last night while watching the game. Unless he's trolling State fans and stirring them up for no reason, you have to believe we have a legitimate shot. Lots of pro Rebal comments and constant dialogue with Shea.
