They're in his top five and will get an official but I don't think theyre a serious contender.

LSU definitely feels much, much better about landing Gary. I'm just playing along with the idea of the two seriously considering playing together. However Grimes landed Valentine-Okeke completely out of left field, no one thought LSU had a chance. In fact had most no idea LSU was even being considered until he committed. Just pointing out that Grimes is a great recruiter and very low key. I don't doubt LSU is behind Ole Miss and Bama, but I wouldn't be surprised if we were a distant third right now

Don't you dare Tunsil us and leapfrog the top two contenders. We need Little more than LSU does.

I don't think anyone is counting out LSU. If it wasn't for the evil empire in Tuscaloosa then Les would be the unequivocal top recruiter in the conference and possibly the whole country.

Yup. I think I've even posted on this board a few times that when that a-hole locks in on a recruit, you've got like a 15% chance of beating them out

Unless that prospect is from the Sip, then Saban can eat a big ole bag of Haha Clinton-Dix.

You guys heard anything recently on Deontay Anderson? He just scheduled an OV to LSU for the Florida game

He appears to be our biggest OOS lock. Other croots and players have hinted that he's already made the decision but doesn't want to come out publicly with it yet. He's visiting this weekend for Fresno with his teammate who is a commit of ours, I would be really shocked if he signed elsewhere.

Then again, this time a few years ago Jamal Adams was a UF/Ole Miss battle.

Yeah I don't pencil in anyone until the dust settles. LSU's class is epic right now, but it's so fragile with Fowler liking Texas and Monroe still liking A&M, two pretty huge cornerstones of the class right now. yeah the LSU side definitely thinks Ole Miss has the lead, but Raymond is all over him

frick I'm glued to recruiting right now. I'm so desperate for kickoff this weekend

No kidding. Everyone else got their fix. We were left chanting boos at lightening.

I think Anderson ends up in Oxford, but also think S. Smith could move to safety.

Lately There has been a good bit low key Little/LSU talk going around. Like tigerbait said, Grimes is very low key, but more than effective.

Fans just don't understand what it's like to basically have a bye on week 1 It's even worse when everyone in the West looks alarmingly good, while we remain a mystery.

Agreed. I still trust Raymond like I do O up against anyone though.

Yeah, when I read that Gary and Little are talking about possibly playing together, I immediately thought of how well Gary's visit went, combined with the recent LSU/Little chatter. It makes me feel even better about Gary at least

It looks as though Gary and Little will take a lot of the same official visits. Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss each got one from both, I believe.

There's no doubt Auburn and Ole Miss are just as much in the race for the two as LSU. I feel like Ole Miss fans view where they stand with Little similarly to where LSU does with Gary; not a lock but in a great spot. I just like that the two's common denominator isn't Alabama, or they're at least on the back end of Gary's list
