quote:Uh, not really... His last two starts before UT were against Grambling and Cincy that were a combined 10.1 innings, 4 hits, and 1 walk with 0 earned runs and a whip under 0.50.
His last few starts have been more than shaky. Hopefully he gets it together.
He had one bad situation with Grambling, and him getting pulled had a lot to do with it being a 7 inning game.

I wish the Saturday USC game were at noon. I might have to skip it because of Easter festivities. At least it's on tv and not +. For whatever reason, the smart tv at my family's house won't play the audio for ESPN through the web browser, and ESPN doesn't have an app for Samsung tv's yet (I know, #firstworldproblems).
Also, does anyone know why SECN refuses to use its alternate channels for anything other than softball seemingly?

I'm probably in over my head here but I'll tell you what I did... I have a Samsung TV and I bought a Google Chrome stick and I plugged it in to the flat screen and I stream the games from my iPad/iPhone straight to that ... It only costs like 30 bucks... Just a suggestion.

Oh yeah, that would totally work I imagine. I have a Roku, and I got my parents two Chromecasts a couple of Christmases ago. The issue is that I'd have to wire it into their home theater (as easy as using HDMI, but to get to the HDMI outlets on the receiver, I'd have to move a bunch of stuff around). Seeing that I have to move a bunch of stuff around to get to the back of the receiver, my dad refuses to believe I know what I'm doing haha, even though I've hardwired my own surround sound multiple times. Luckily, since my parents live in Memphis, I can just tune into Kellum and whatnot on Sports 56, but the delay between audio and video is a pretty bad first world problem in big time moments (bases loaded, homers, etc.). It reminds me of the RebelVision days, but not in a good way.
I'm clearly just spoiled by this tv whenever I go home and am frustrated that I can't make it work perfectly without having to plug in external stuff.

Isn't Rebelvision still available?

I know RebelVision how you can stream baseball audio. I can't remember what the exact deal is with video in the SECN age. I think it's only on RebelVision if it's not being carried by ESPN3/SECN+, but I could be wrong. According to the schedule, it's looking like the Memphis game, Arkansas State game, and, randomly, the first two games against aTm are the only ones that wouldn't be on SECN+.

Listening to this game is awful with all those kids in the backgroud

OOC away games are the only ones not covered. I'm sure those A&M games will be covered but just aren't labeled on the schedule correctly.

They had 6000 kids from the elementary schools apparently there

Looked good on tv, but sounded like seagulls.

ESPN was saying they likely went way past 6000.

On the radio it sure sounded like more than 6k but according to Richard Cross it was only 6k, either way I agree with SwayzeBalla frick em

Saturday starter is TBA
Early guess from Chase Parham is Pagnozzi but we'll have to see how deep in the bullpen we have to get on Thurs and Fri.

What happened to Sean Johnson?
Posted on 3/23/16 at 11:02 pm to reggierayreb
If Bramlett or Smith get in trouble then we'll see. If Coach goes to Green or Parkinson early then he's definitely planning on using Pag for Saturday. We have extra guys in the pen who could use some innings, having a solid Sunday starter is a bigger need and Andy has performed.

sean johnson has not performed exceptional lately.
only went 2 innings or so last week. and pagnozzi has looked good in his mid week starts and in relief last sunday.
sean Johnson might move to long reliever or the mid week spot for next week.
