I'm optimistic in this team that we still haven't hit our strike swinging the bat. Errol and Bortles will come around at some point. We still have a good chance to win a road series in the SEC. Never a bad thing.

We backdoored Vandy in Nashville last season to end a looooong streak of not coming back to win the last 2 games after a Friday loss... Their starter today has great numbers but they just don't have a lot of reliable arms in the bullpen.

What time is the game today?
Really hoping we can get the W to win he series. Should have been wrapped up already. Friday night pissed me the hell off. And then yesterday reminded me why I like bianco. He will go to bat for his players. Just like that post-season series in Tempe several years ago

Unlike the last 2-3 years I actually think we have a quality Sunday guy in Johnson so I like our chances

Obviously you never want to drop the Friday night game, but it is nice to see this group rebound and get a series win on the road against a pretty good offensive team.
USC will be hot rolling into Oxford on Thursday. Should be another good series.

According to secsports.com, Thursday and Friday's games are on SEC Network + while the Saturday game has a start time of 3pm and will be televised by the SEC Network.
Should be a great series between two teams that have a ton of quality arms... I feel like we'll hammer UT-Martin on Tuesday... I think Saturday is do or die time for Johnson... If he can't put together a quality start then I think Pagnozzi gets the nod for game 3 in Starkville.

Johnson has had one kind of bad outing. He had an ERA of 1.80 going into today. Pagnozzi isn't a guy you move out of the bullpen unless you have to.

He just hasn't looked comfortable out there his last two starts.
He definitely has the stuff to win us a bunch of rubber matches... I think it's just a confidence thing at his point ... Seems like he loses his command once runners get on base.

His last few starts have been more than shaky. Hopefully he gets it together.
