Is this the mostly highly touted bc we've ever signed in the modern recruiting era?

I mean if we can land CJ, Jamall Adams, Webster to go along with Connor, Elston, Prewitt, Golson that would ne the most stacked DB roster we have EVER had since I can remember. Plus if Derrick Jones continues to improve we will be light years ahead of any Secondary I could ever recall us having. I also think that Ronald Walker will be a beast!
Of course we need those guys to pan out, but I doubt anyone here could name a DB squad better than that at least on paper in recent memory.
Add in Demarquis Gates and hopefully Nyles Morgan/ or CG3 to play with DN and Keith Lewis we could have a very solid LBs for the next few years.
And I think we all know that our D Line will be very nasty for at least a few more years.

Just saw we landed Webster today

Nice to see us land a 6 foot tall corner. That why I am so excited about the develop meant of Derrick Jones. Notice how Saban doesn't sign corners under 6 foot. and they seem to be doing pretty damn good with that philosophy and I have heard that Freeze is trying to follow that model for recruiting. It will probably take a few years of building depth before we can pick and choose to the extent that Bama does but he is a huge get in the mold that Freeze wants

Well, if Brassell were properly labeled as a DB then he would've been the highest but aside from that it's probably Golson. Golson was composite #24 CB, Webster is 26

And we get Anthony Alford next year, too.

No no. 247 wasn't up and running back then. Notice he isn't ranked by 247, so their composite is just a guess, an uneducated one at that giving that rivals rated him 33rd CB and Scout 25th. Just avg. those two he would be 29th and throw ESPN in who had him at 117 CB.
Snoop was a WR/ATH as a recruit. Just because Bama recruited him as a CB doesn't make him one as a recruit. If that were true then Jesse Jackso is a safety and not a WR.
This is the best CB commit we have ever gotten since recruiting rankings started

He's 5'10. Now Tee is a solid 6 foot even though Holmes list him a 6'2.

Yeah I think the philosophy is take the studs no matter what height but consider their height as far as their rank on our board and only take 6"+ as far as projects or gambles like Bobby Hill. Mike Hilton has really worked out for us but don't expect anymore like him.
Speaking of Hilton, I now have a hard on for CB that can be physical against the run. Senquez and Hilton may be short but they are so physical against the run and that adds such a different element to our defense. I love our short corners. If you are looking for a weakness out of Webster it's his run support. It's not that he isn't strong, he's extremely strong, you can tell that from his returns, no arm tackle brings him down. It just appears he has terrible tackle form and lacks confidence in his tackling thus isn't very aggressive. He has the frame to be a 190lb CB and like I said, he's very strong, so hopefully we can coach that area of his game up

I love the way Hilton and Senquez attack bubble screens.

I love how 6'3" true frosh Derrick Jones competed against Landry and ODB jr in his first ever start.
