Everybody knows the Vaught years don't count and the record should really start in 1990.

The difference in the football series was Johnny Vaught. His record vs State is what separates the rivalry- pre Vaught, we more than held out own.

Technically, yes. In reality, no.

The difference in the rivalry is Vaught(18-2-4), Kinard(3-0), Cooper actually lost 3 of 4 to us on the field(3-1 in record book), Sloan(3-2), Brewer(8-3 but 7-1 pre-Jackie)...

Overall, I give you that the series would be basically a wash without the Vaught period of dominance... but that doesn't erase the fact that we were dominated on the field from 1944-1991, only half of which John Vaught was coaching...

Oxford is sophisticated, diverse, culturally rich, and historically significant. It attracts some of the South's greatest writers, artists, researchers, academics, and retirees.

I can absolutely see where you would not fit in there. Junior college was the correct choice for you. Please do us all a favor and continue to be true to yourself.

Coonie arse is too easy. I regret that State cannot seem to come up with someone better.

Of course he did.

Good choice.

Oxford is Grenada without the lake

Your theory would be correct except that we won 5 of 9 on the field from 1974-1982...those guys that played for Mississippi in 76 and 77 that lost on the field dont go around talking big about their forfeit wins.

So, we go back to the Vaught years being the difference in the rivalry.

What is sad is that you actually believe that.

But if it keeps pieces of JUCO water-trash like you out of Lafayette County then I'm all for it.

You believes this, but you also think

Therefore, everything you think is pure garbage.

We have Sardis lake, assclown.

And that means that Oxford is even better than Starkville in potential redneck outdoor activities. The irony.
