What is so appealing About Ole Miss to recruits? Y'all just finished 2-10 and won't be much better this year.

Plus they're buying into what Freeze and his staff are telling them. Our campus is one of the prettiest in the nation in more ways than one. That's big to a lot of recruits and parents. Our facilities (other than VHS) are top notch.

Paying time...errr, I mean playing time.

Plus Freeze is a pretty good guy from just down the road and not some arrogant Yankee a-hole

I like her, but come on, do you really think she has solid connections deep inside programs? Especially if she's neutral? What staff member would risk their job to help out a scout reporter? She's guessing.

Everything about OM is better than MSU other than what our last coaching staff did. They're gone. Our new one out works everyone and it shows. Add in the fact that we have one of the best college towns, campus, women, etc. We offer playing time and these recruits believe Freezus can turn it around. Plus we pay dem wit Benjamin's and chi o's

She told us that she thinks he ultimately ends up at OM last week, so which is it?

So Freeze is the main recruiter for all of your big recruits?

FTR, Ben said last week that if Kailo was leaning anywhere it was state, but mainly because his mom hadn't met Freeze. That changed over the weekend, and IMO I don't think anyone leads, but I still think he'll be a reb in the end

Negative. Believe it or not kiffin, Harris, and nix especially are pretty good.

Nix is the main guy on kailo. One of the main reasons he was retained was because of his ability to recruit, and his connections with a lot of solid kids. Freeze obviously is good himself, but he's spreading the work around thats for sure.

You'd lost 9 of 17 since the Egg Bowl moved back to campus before your previous staff was hired. You haven't been "superior" to us since the day we hired JWS in 1991...

That said, Freeze is doing a great job recruiting, and it does concern me going forward. I take nothing away from him. The amount of concern will really grow IF he starts cleaning up on talent along the OL and DL. No doubt he outrecruits us this year according to rankings. It sets up to be an OM year anyway, given the schools and ties of alot of the top MS recruits this year, but the OOS talent he's racking up has definitely caught me by surprise.

I'm getting very concerned about our lack of commits thusfar, although those "in the know" say we're fine and about where we want to be. The only guy we've missed on that we went hard after was Herron...you "may" include Buchanan, but he was never our top qb target. They expect us to get 7-10 commits in the coming weeks surrounding Big Dawg Camp, 2-3 of which will be Dandy Dozenish guys. I hope they are right, because we're a LONG way behind right now...

So your big reason why state is better is because you're 9-8 in the last 17 egg bowls? Wow. How are we out recruiting y'all with such a lopsided rivalry. Our facilities, campus, town, women, tradition, and recruiting effort is better than yours that's why we are superior, not because we aren't 9-8 in the last 17 egg bowls. Btw, I said we are superior in every way if you take out what our last staff did. So in doing so we are 7-6 in the last 13 non Nutt egg bowls. I don't think that matters but since I mentioned it earlier and you seem to think winning one more egg bowl over almost two decades is relevant I thought I'd mention it

Reading comprehension and arithmetic your strong suits there, chief? 12 of 21 counting Nutt.

I already knew logical discussion with you would be impossible, so I'm not sure why I tried. You hold onto your false sense of superiority, it's about all you've got left.(other than June 'crootin championships of course)

Right, because this rivalry isn't one that goes back and forth.

It wasn't that long ago that we were shutting you out 45-0, some of you act like this is gonna go on forever.

Where does it show? You finally get a staff that works hard and all of a sudden they work harder than everyone else? Stop being such a bundy.

Every coaching staff in the SEC does this.

So did Ed Orgeron and Houston Nutt's staffs

Not at AU.

We just subscribe to 24/7 and hire TideSaint freelance to do our QB evaluations.
