I'll go with 2000's (2000 to 2009).
2000-2005 in particular. Culture, music, movies, etc.

80's did suck ... (the first half -- though I was a tween at the time).

1970s and it's not even close. The car styles at the start were ok, but from 75) to 79 they were boxes.

30-40's (common era)
Sometime this decade the Religious leaders in Jerusalem forced the Mashiach into first admitting his kingship to the Romans; who immediately put an end to his reign on earth. One day in and they killed the guy who was appointed/tapped to be the Jew's next David or Solomon. The next decade pretty much sucked as the reform movement started on day one got ever more diluted, altered, and changed as the message was decided upon. And the nation that was to be the light upon the hill has struggled for another 2000 years. Not a good decade.

When Marty McFly first when back to 1955 from 1985. And thereby screwed up the space time continuum forevermore.

The 80s were awesome. Gotta go with the '30s. Great Depression was in full swing.
