Not saying Roy Moore should be a senator (although the timing and credibility of the witnesses are highly questionable), however, an interesting precedent has now been set over the past several months.

That precedent is that any man accused of sexual assault, harassment, or generally making a woman feel uneasy in any way is now a career-ending thing. You will be assumed guilty, and the burden of proof that you didn’t do something is now the standard.

That said, it would be wise to invest in VR porn and frickbots, as those technologies will be developed on a massive scale quite soon.

I think we need to stop pretending that this is anything other than a referendum on Roy Moore. He was a terrible candidate who said crazy shite from jump street and was projected to have a much closer election than is typical for a republican in that state LONG before these allegations.

At best, assuming the allegations of him groping a 14 year old are false, he's a creepy old frick who lacks personality and openly flaunts laughable ignorance of science, geography and global politics. He's on record publically advocating for the genocide of Muslims and that the public school system should essentially function as an evangelical Sunday school. You just can't say the shite he has for decades and expect to win at this level in 2017.

A better nominee with these allegations still wins in that state.

Anyone who believes this is probably a window licker.

This was a referendum on the window licker in chief, Donald Drumpf as much as anything. Hell, less than 50% of the most hardcore republican state in the country's residents support him right now.

Quite simply, he is the most ignorant, incompetent, clueless, and dishonest president in the history of the United States by a very wide margin on all 4 fronts I just mentioned. He doesn't even have any competition.

He has single handedly done more damage to the brand of a major party than anyone in U.S. history.

Might as well prepare for a Dem controlled house, Senate and executive branch by the end of 2020 because it is most definitely coming. Dems will retake the house and possibly the Senate in the 2018 midterms. If Trump doesn't resign first (and I believe he will), he will lose in a Mondale type landslide in 2020 if he isn't primaried (assuming he is still in office).

Idiot trumpkins are to thank for this shite show too. Thanks a lot morons, you destroyed the GOP by electing a reality tv show that has a room temperature iq.

Ok snowflake. Wait and see what you trumpkins have brought about. Wait and see. The Dems will end up eternally greatful to each and every Trump voter by the time he leaves office (by resignation, impeachment or other).

Hey dumbass, I have no dog in this fight . I'm a registered independent. I knew early in life that all this bickering is a show. Its a soap opera to entertain you idiots while they stealing you blind of your freedom and your money.

Well, maybe you should have a dog in the fight and quit being apathetic saying it doesn't matter.

That is what losers and pussies do.

Real men speak up and stand for something when it matters. Maybe one day you will be one too.

It doesn't though, no matter how I feel or what I say the powers that be will do what they want.

There are literally a hundred reason Roy Moore should not be in government before you get to this issue on the list. But trying to explain how freedom and government works to uneducated whites in the South is a waste of time. But it was funny to see the right defend pedophiles, second time this year with Milo getting it too.

He had a lot of baggage outside of those allegations

That’s what people don’t understand

You mean it’s ok to accuse someone of writing something in a year book and then walk that back and maintain credibility?

Thanks for reading the title. Now read the rest. Has less to do with Roy Moore, and more to do with 2017 as a political climate.

I think you cry wolf a bit here buddy. If it had been just one woman claiming he did this then it would have been a two day news story without proof. Instead others, including people who worked with him, kept coming forward that yeah... he liked to get his freak on with teen aged girls.

We will leave out the other things he's said and done which should have ended his campaign long ago.

If Al "I'm one ugly SOB" Franken had only been accused of being a complete dickbag to that first woman he'd have weathered the storm. Instead more and more women kept coming forward that he was a grabby pig.

At some point the weight of numbers begins to tell.

I'm a flaming moderate who loathes the extremes of both the Republicans and Democrats. I dislike all of them. So this isn't a political thing, its a common sense thing.

We are not, you understand, convicting these people of a crime. We are, however, saying that if there is enough smoke there is probably a fire. If a man's career (and Roy Moore is older then dirt and quite well to do so he's not going to be out giving handjobs at the bus station to make ends meet) is ruined because he's been groping and creeping on women... well maybe don't grope and creep on women.

If you absolutely have to do that then have the decency to go to strip club where they will be happy to let you do so in exchange for a tip.

I get that we aren’t convicting someone of a crime, instead we are just ruining people’s livelihood. Is that any better?

Wrong. It had everything to do with Moore being a terrible candidate from the get go. I'm as conservative as it gets and decided that I wasn't going to vote once Moore won the nomination. There are thousands more like me.

Actually, it's more like right wingers still think they have a mandate to change America. We've got a year of Trumpism behind us now and we've become the laughing stock of the world. The wild-haired, orange clown with a sphincter for a mouth in the Oval Office is absolutely the worst politician ever to reside there.

He might have some good, conservative issues from which we could all benefit but his personality, style and the people with whom he surrounds himself are extreme negatives that even the Republican Party find reprehensible. His "my way or the highway" attitude and disdain for compromise have bogged down the federal government to the point that confusion reigns. This won't play well in the 2018 elections.
