Zimmerman guessed correctly.

Wasn't there something like four home break ins in his neighborhood by "young black males" in the month before the incident?
He was at least somewhat justified IMO. At some point you gotta play the odds.

Prosecutor John Guy’s first words to the jury recounted what Zimmerman told a dispatcher in a call shortly after spotting Martin: “F------ punks. These a-------. They always get away.”
Zimmerman was profiling Martin as he followed him, Guy said. He said Zimmerman viewed the teen “as someone about to a commit a crime in his neighborhood.”
Did Trayvon call him a crazy arse cracka, before or after this comment? Had there been previous burglaries attributed to black males before this night? Did Trayvon's actions give reasonable thought as to whether he should have had an eye kept on him?

that is unknown since Trayvon told the girl that.

After, I believe. They made it sound like GZ said this when he observed him. Trayvon probably wouldn't have known he was being followed at that point.

Reportedly yes.

He was a kid with a can of tea, a bag of skittles, a flashlight and a cell phone, just walking to his dad's place. Unless you call being black and walking an "action" requiring surveillance, I don't think so.

Then, it's fair to say, it's an assumption?

Cursing and espousing racist comments, covering his identity with a raised hoodie. That could be viewed as suspicious. Saying he was a kid, in retrospect is shaping the arguments of what happened that night. His face wasn't seen, concealed by the hoodie, and his height according to the autopsy was five foot eleven inches. When I envision a kid, I don't think of them as being the same height as the average male.

this made the guy look suspicious.

I don't want to argue about this. I've disagreed iwth enough people around here in the last couple of days.
I don't think they'll get the 2nd degree murder conviction, but I think there's a good chance they get manslaughter. I'm just sorry the kid died.

anybody that wears their hoodies inside a store look suspicious.

take your hoodie off when you walk in the store at least. common sense tells you that.

The guy at the store didn't think he was suspicious. I believe they have either called him, or planned to. He just went into the store, got his stuff, paid for it and left.

Nobody can look at that and tell me, had they been in that store, they wouldn't have been a little on edge. Even your average robber has the sense to not look THAT suspicious.

Just debating.

Even more suspicious that someone would be out at dark, in the rain, in a neighborhood that had recent multiple burglaries.

I'm just sorry the kid died
Agreed. And I'm not judging or deciding until all the evidence is laid out. I just hope another wrong decision isn't made, based on emotions or race.
