I know it's not SEC related, but I figured some may like to discuss what happened last night anyways.

Mike Tyson was extremely impressive last night for any of those who didn't see the fight. He went the full 8 with Roy Jones and was the better fighter from start to finish. I fully believe he could have knocked Jones out at any point after the third round or so, but appeared content just beating on the guy for 8 rounds instead. After the fight Roy Jones appeared to have busted ribs because he couldn't stand still and was holding his sides during the post fight interview.

Anyone else think Mike could make a run at the heavyweight division again after watching that last night?

I didn’t end up watching but I’m going to say no. He’s way too old.

I think it is a silly promotion and boxing is and always was full of criminal promoters.

I thought the same thing before watching the fight. I didn't think he would last 8 rounds. He worked himself into great fricking shape, man. He dropped 100 pounds for that fight and looked crisp the entire way. He still hits like he is holding a Mack truck in his hands too.

No. A legit fighter would destroy him now. It was entertaining but not some title fight by a loooong way. I'd still pay to watch a series of these though

If you're serious, then you are even a bigger fool than I had you tabbed for...and that'd be hard to accomplish.

Roy Jones Jr was one of the best to ever step in the ring. And he was last in the ring only 3 years ago.

I'd like to see him try.

Roy Jones is 51 years old and has been retired for over 2 years.

This isn't like going against Ruiz, Joshua or Fury.

You could tell Snoop was really hoping for Roy to kick his arse. He sounded legit concerned for Roy Jones during the fight.

You aren't the first person to suggest it since the fight but IMO it is outright fantasy. Sure he could likely sleep some of the tomato cans at the bottom of the rankings in a round or two but put him (at his age) into the ring with Fury, Joshua, Wilder, Ruiz, Ortiz, Parker, Hunter, Whyte, or Povetkin and he is going to take a serious beating.
