Why is Missouri obsessed with Soy?

Missouri produces more Soy than any other State in the SEC and almost twice as much as Arkansas who is in second place.

How did they keep this secret when applying for membership?
How did we not vet them for this?
I have discovered these unbeforeseen pictures of Missouri Soy production from the deep web
here is a an actual Missouri professor overseeing the production of their state staple
Can we revoke their membership with this revelation?
Does it explain the school's rabid SJWism and Barry Odom's man tits?

...but they're not though, seven states get paid more per soy bushel than Missouri does. Something else is attracting them to this crop.
