Are you sure? I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Word to the wise here bud, you aren't as smart as you think you are.

Why does the Marines Core exist?
To give the US Army someone to both fear, admire, and undoubtedly learn how to spell from. ( its “Marine CORPS” dummy). I’ve lived as both. Take my word for it. The Army as a whole isn’t even close to the Corps. The base mentality is totally different. Soldiering in the Army is viewed as a profession, a job, whereas in the Corps the Marine’s sole focus is on one thing ‘killing you at any cost, by any means necessary’. It’s why Chris Kyle the Navy Seal of American Sniper said give him a Company of Marines and he could rule Iraq, but saw the Army Soldiers and their leaders as weak and hesitant to engage the enemy. The Marines sought battle, the Army shied from it. So take your ignorant little cheerleader act down the road to someone who doesn’t know any better. I do and so does every other person who has ever been THERE.

Chris Kyle was a lying attention whore. Nothing he said bears any merit and if you jerk off to him u dum.

I realize this is a troll attempt and you think it’s cute. You should realize there are REAL people out there that would literally kill you for that statement. I’m not one of them, but don’t be stupid enough to believe the don’t exist. That’s all.

Got you to bite pretty damn hard didn't it.
Of all the things I have said in this thread that is the closest to my actual opinion. Chris Kyle was a liar and he lied for attention and money. He whored out his service for personal gain. He should not be celebrated.

As a Marine I can absolutely tell you there is only one service that has won every war for the United States since the Civil War - and that's the US Navy. If you can move supplies over the oceans while at the same time preventing your foe from doing the same you win the war.
While I dearly love to mock the squids (I'm from an Army family that was posted to a Navy base for a Joint Command) you could actually go back further then the Civil War and add the Mexican-American War.
While we crushed the Mexican army in the opening months of the war in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona we weren't able to knock them out until we landed troops down there and marched on Mexico City. We didn't win the war of 1812 because the British bottled up our navy and we won the Revolutionary War thanks to a naval action... granted it was someone else's navy but still.
Even when the US was in full isolationist mode and our Army was smaller then Portugal's we were spending the money to have a first class navy.

You're smarter than you give yourself credit for.

Ya'll want to see the ship I was stationed on?
This little beauty is the USS Ponce. It's an LPD and it's job is to haul marines and their vehicles around wherever they want to go. Normally that would make them my enemy since they make lines ridiculously long and sit around watching people work all day but my brother was a jarhead and they have my utmost respect.

We watched transformers on the flight deck one night right out in the middle of the ocean with a projector blasting at that big door.

Was on the Whidbey Island for her first Med Tour and the LST Hermitage for its last. World of difference in the two.
