Because my grandpa's crowning aeronautical engineering feat was his work on the Saturn s iv-b rocket engine... which quite literally was invented for the sole purpose of coming in orbit with the moon to launch the lunar vehicle.

My uncle was on a team of a few engineers that designed the driveline and wheels for the moon buggy at waterways experiment station in Vicksburg.
This is why conspiracists are so fricking stupid.
You can be intelligent, but if you're so unexposed to life that is's easier to doubt what you don't understand then it's rather sad.
hundreds of thousands would be in on the ploy. Is that likely? frick no.
If I grew up not knowing anybody significant in the government, never having a job, just straight to college on mother's teet I could see where some of these things would be unbelievable.
