People still think I have a dick unless they've been around long enough....regardless of my username.

As for why, why not? I'm a girl. Why should I have to pretend I'm a guy/not have something feminine in my screen name when I'm not a guy?
And THIS times 1000000.
This doesn't answer the question.. Dodges it, but still no answer..

Why doesn't it? He asked why? I said because I'm a girl and it was a preference.
It's the equivalent of waking up and putting on a dress instead of pants. Sometimes you just want to.

Let's just equate this to openly gay athletes in sports. Whether you admit it or not, we're blasted with the ideological view that women can't care about sports legitimately and certainly can't discuss it. Gays are viewed as all being very stereotypically feminine and can't play men's sports.
The biggest problem with both of these is that in the same way sexuality is not written on an athlete's forehead, gender cannot be communicated online without explicitly saying it.
The stereotypes cannot be broken until people come forward and make the effort to break them- or else we continue believing them to be true because we don't know they aren't true

Typical. Thread gets derailed by IMing. Should have expected as much.

What else can be said about the subject? Cuz we don't want to be male?
Does it matter?

If you want to have a discussion about existentialism then please start a thread about it because I would love to discuss it, on this discussion board. For discussion's sake.

Same with football on the SecRant, I never see any female posters actually discussing sports, it's always "insert player here is sooooooo sexy, I wonder if he likes Pinterest recipes and trendy cupcakes" and other such nonsense.
And this is bullshite.
