In the 1860 election?

Abraham Lincoln: Republican
John C. Breckinridge: Southern Democrat
Stephen A. Douglas: Democrat
John Bell: Constitutional Union

Would've saved 750,000 American lives.

I'm a sucker for good speakers so back in the days before microphones he probably would've gotten my vote.

I wouldn't have been able to vote because of the color of my skin.

Only correct answer if you live in Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, South Carolina, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama.

His great great grandson served as Congressman from Kentucky and died a year after leaving office. John was a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army in WW II. RIP

Well, not being born yet might have been a bigger factor. ;)

Without Breckinridge and others of his family, you might be Mexican now.

Of course Arkansas and Missouri were not yet organized and neither would be SEC charter schools either. : big casty : At least South Carolina and Texas A&M were in the old SIAA.

Not all of us were lucky enough to be alive to vote in 1860 like you were ;)

I would have voted for the greatest president this country has ever had. It would have been epic to have a Lincoln/Reagan ticket. But Reagan was only 30 at the time.

True, but with Washington's wife and Adams's cousin both in the beer trade, those first few elections you could really get hammered.

Imagine a modern-day Mexico that includes California and Texas. Wow, they'd be stronger than Canada.
