Kentucky or Mississippi

I will say from living in Louisiana for many years before moving to Texas, that i always get a huge kick out of cajuns using southern stereotypes as a way to talk smack to Bama fans.

Louisiana has the monopoly on most of that, but Texas easily has the most dirt roads.

Louisiana or Mississippi. Eastern Kentucky might also qualify, but not the whole state.

If you could divide out eastern Kentucky, it wins this debate

Depends. Straight up hillbilly? Mississippi. Good ole country boy type stuff? Texas or Georgia.

Mississippi has almost zero hillbillies. Kind of hard to have hillbillies when you don’t have many hills. That’s fricking Arkansas and Tennessee. We’re trailer trash. Get it right at least, Jesus.

Compared to south LA, MS has all the hills. Most country = Mississippi as per meeting too many of my distant relatives. LA is a different brand of redneck, more it's own thing being coonass as opposed to country. North LA doesn't even count, that's basically Arky and MS.

Wouldn't you agree that it's hurtful to call someone a hillbilly ?

They all have their country back woods types but my home state of Louisiana has to be #1. Some of my cousins actually went to a funeral in overalls and no shoes once when I was a kid. That’s backwoods coonass
