It's not so much that you have to look for "miracles", its that you have to overlook the other 90% of Christians who aren't as lucky when dieing or suffering under the same circumstances as the claimed miracle. Then just saying something really lame like, well I guess that was his plan.

True enough. If bad things didn't happen to Christians, then everyone would be one, and the basis of faith would not be pure. God does not show favoritism. He love all people equally.

:) I do like your quote even if we don't see eye to eye. It's still a nice way of putting your viewpoint and I can respect that.

Why does God place so much emphasis on believing without evidence? Why play such a silly game with people's souls? A game mind you that he made the rules for and already knows the outcome of.

" we dont have any answers, we are still searching " sounds like a solid premise upon which to base a new cthulhutic creed

I think it's premature to say there is a definite end and a definite beginning. Far too early.

Do you think we'll live long enough to learn these answers? Would the answers be too much of a mindfrick to handle? Hell, the questions themselves and the answers we do have are kind of a mindfrick

Not that you have much of a choice.

Cthulhu, less about tithes, more about souls.

When it comes to answering the question -- is there a higher power?

I ask

Isn't it obvious when you see evil? Isn't it obvious when you see good?

Can't you just see the good in someones eyes? And the evil?

I know definitively that a lifetime of actions and intentions molds into the soul and reflects through the face and entire body.

For this reason the soul must exist!

From that I deduce that yes, a higher power must exist.
