What schools cancelled classes today?

My friend at Bama just told me they cancelled classes for an inch of snow....silly non-yankees

Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and Emory along with all of the HBCU's here in Atlanta have cancelled class.

Sticking to the grass and cars... and my balcony here in Atlanta. Roads are fine in my neighborhood but apparently most major roads are a parking lot.

I haven't seen any yet, but there's snow just north of us, and all over central LA.

Did it not start snowing there until later? Classes were cancelled here after 1 p.m.
I'm amused by all of this.
UofK didn't shut down the other day with far more snow. Some of our football players from the south couldn't believe it.

Last year we had classes with 3 inches and snow still coming down in droves. It was basically a whiteout. The university finally relented at 11am after we had accumulated over 5 inches with snow still falling. Got the next 2 days off though

My freshman year up north they didn't cancel class for half a foot blizzard and it being 15 degrees. My friends were like yea, sucks, and I was just sitting their agape thinking "why the frick am I here"
And yea, Athens was like 6 degrees warmer than here in Gwinnett and didn't get snow till recently so they held off as long as they could

When I was in school in NOVA they didn't cancel school until there was a ton of snow. They just put chains on the tires of the buses and let it go.

Troy cancelled. Nothing but ice pellets and freezing rain, probably no snow until 9 pm
