Had an Elvis Special for lunch today and it got me thinking of the best way to prepare a peanut butter sandwich?
On a side note, are any of you old enough to remember "axel grease"? Have not had it since the 1970's and it was delicious. It was either peanut butter and grape jelly or peanut butter and strawberry jelly ground (no chunky peanut butter) to where it looked and felt like axel grease. Seems I only remember it in military or football settings where those training you wanted sugar and protein in your diet to put on muscle mass.
PB&B = Peanut Butter & Banana
PB&H = Peanut Butter & Honey
PB&J = Peanut Butter & Jelly

Butter some light bread and put thin-sliced bananas and crunchy peanut butter on it, toast each side of the sandwich in a skillet, cut diagonally... add an ice cold glass of whole milk and Lay's plain potato chips... PB&B nirvana.

Peanut Butter and Strawberry jam, with Peanut Butter and dill pickle slices a close second...that may sound odd but it is very good
