Mine has a wikipedia page. Damage to our house wasn't much at all, some shingles. Not true for many others. LINK

April 27th. I like storm spotting and it beat anything.

Haven't been threw many storms.

I did go through a tornado and Hurricane Opal. Both blew the top of fairly large trees off into the yard and both landed where cars would normally have been parked (smart thinking saved one and coincidence saved the other). The tornado also tore our entire fence down and threw one 8'x8' section of it least 30 yards away into a neighbors yard.

April 27. House across the street from me had a tree through the middle of it. The neighborhood across University Blvd was completely gone.

Might sound like a weird question to ask but did the sky turn a creepy arse green color after the tornado?

No, I was in Biloxi. That's why I called it the "landmass"

Two tornadoes in Arkansas when I was a kid that happened in the span of a week, one on a Sunday evening and the second the following Wednesday afternoon.

Also, a few years later, one a half mile long stayed on the ground for about a mile in the northern section of my hometown. It happened about 6:30 a.m. There were injuries, but no deaths, fortunately. I was away at college at the time.

I was in SELA for Katrina, Rita, & Gustav. They, of course, did much more damage than the tornadoes, but I wasn't as frightened by them because I could prepare so much for them. There isn't a lot of time for preparation with a tornado, and they can literally drop out of the sky anywhere at any time.

Well, that was still a rough place to be. Last time I was in Biloxi I was like 12 years old and GWB was in his first term.
