Alabama will be the last fricking state to ever legalize it. Still have counties that won't sell alcohol on Sunday.

frick 'em. Makes sex feel better, listening to music a little better, and makes life so much more relaxing despite going into deep 30-minute thoughts to yourself.

Politicians and cops are the pushers who control the market with monopolistic power enforced with guns and cages. The State pushers are raking in vast fortunes while they enjoy the best cannabis.

If you want the best shite, get in with the power structure.

Federal law gives you cancer...just like they allowed our country to smoke cigarettes for 30 years without saying a word.

30 freaking years. Nicotine and Lung Cancer.

Not disagreeing. I think it should be legal. Just saying that we're likely around a decade away from it being federally legal.

You can't buy a beer on Sunday in the entire state of Indiana, which is hardly a religious state. Plenty of other entire states with the same laws.

And why do you assholes act like its legal everywhere but the South? There's 2 or 3 states with legal weed. It's not like you can buy it in Chicago but not Alabama.

Talk to people in states with legalized weed. It's more expensive and you have to deal with assholes to buy it. We'd be much better off if they simply decriminalized it and stayed the hell out of it.

I'm not against legalizing it... but there is a huge difference in smoking weed on the job vs. smoking a cig on the job.

Sounds about like my parents. They smoked both weed and cigarettes when they were younger in the 70's and 80's.

They both quit smoking cigars and cigarettes a few years back...but they still smoke a joint very frequently.

It never hurt them.

The Deep South needs to pass this law.

It could only benefit our economy going forward.

Weed is GREAT...that much is understood by now.

But, there is a difference when you are arrested by the authorities in other States, that don't allow it.

Weed is Legal on Colorado.

When we smoke it in Alabama...we have to get a lawyer and spend two days in jail.

I just moved to Colorado, so I have some perspective from both sides. This state is making so much money from marijuana sales it's unreal. In my opinion, it should be legalized if for no other reason than the ungodly amount of tax revenue. They basically treat it just like alcohol up here, and it works great. There are lounges people go to chill, and people buy it and take it home or whatever. The people around here seem to be handling it really well, and the shops are incredibly professional. I've actually never smoked weed, but I took some time to visit a couple of the lounges and shops just to see what it was like. Pretty cool. These people have it figured out, and it wouldn't disrupt the way of life or cause mass debauchery if it were legalized in the south.

No doubt. Where in Co are you?

I'm a Colorado Medical user. It basically let's you get it much cheaper than recreational, since there's no additional 20% tax on my purchase, just local sales taxes.

In Nola, I'd buy 1/8ths for $50-60, Ounces for $300-350, sometimes even higher. It was also a crap shoot, You didn't know which type of cannabis you were buying, Indica or Sativa (one makes you tired, the other more uppity). I'd get some known stains occasionally. And only because I'm a vet, I knew if they were actually what I was expecting.

Today I bought a 1/2 ounce for $80 (1/4 of Lemon Sweet Skunk and a 1/4 of Moonshine Haze). Impeccable quality, and I know exactly what I'm smoking. What fertillizers and other chemicals that were used in the grow process. I know what the THC percentage and percentage of other cannabinods are in the cannabis I bought. The product is truly incredible.

I WAS ALSO CARDED TWICE during the purchase. Once to walk into the dispensary, and another time by the "budtender." This is VERY COMMON. I get ID'd twice at 95% of the places I've bought from, and I'm 32 and look it. And when I moved here, I tried dozens of different places. It is damn near impossible for someone under 21 to legally purchase weed. Way harder than alcohol from a liqour store. I would be shocked if any fake ID worked. And this is coming from someone that had a fake ID from 17 to 21.

At 15, I was buying weed from multiple Taco Bell employees. You wanna make it harder for kids to score? Legalize it.

Plus now, Colorado is making huge tax revenue. And millions are also being saved from not wasting time enforcing an archaic law.

Numerous decent sized cities and counties have banned sales. It's still a local issue, but no longer a criminal issue.

And another fun fact Colorado has discovered??? Almost nobody who didn't smoke pot before legalization, became regular smokers. There might've been a few people who no longer got tested at work, and could finally start smoking again for the first time in years. but they loved it before.

This guy gets it. I could go on and add to it...but whats the use.

God....havent used pot in years and back then Id just take a hit because I had a captain on my boat at times who smoked it quite often...it improved his senses and vessel handling skills he was talking to me about price of pot and it blew my mind. He would only get designer stuff that would bankrupt most folks. When I last bought pot in the early 1970s it was about 20-25 bucks for a tomato can or over an o.z.

The only thing I really liked about pot was music and sex, but not necessarily in that order.

Get used to pot being illegal...have you seen the yellow pages and the amount of attorneys listed? Same with alcohol...why do you think the legal limit is low? Again, look at the number of attorneys that need work. Look at state congressmen...how many are attorneys?

Yeah, this isn't true at all. And quite dumb.

There is no reasonable argument against legalizing weed, in my opinion.

Alabama is a poor state, and the fact that we are not taking advantage of legal marijuana is inexcusable and completely fricking stupid. But there are a shite ton of stupid arse people in our state, so yeah. Sucks.

Basically, if you are agony legalization, it is hard for me to take anything else you say very seriously.

So wanting something that all ages partake in (and have for a long time ) to be legal is why people hate millenials? Colorado is making millions of dollars for the state, and legalization cripples violent drug cartels. fricking millenial scum!
