Also, you could try practicing Qigong or Yoga. However, based on your other response, I'm gonna guess that even if I told you you could harness ESP through Qigong, you wouldn't believe it anyways...because your pastor didn't tell you about it (just a hunch), and you wouldn't get any benefit from it anyways.

So I guess you'll just have to continue wondering where the deer went.

ETA: Fun Fact. Indigenous peoples from all over the world used to (and probably still do) use magic to call herds of deer, buffalo, elk, etc to their location for thousands of years. With great success.

Their pastors musta forgot to tell them that shite isn't real.

Well going off of what the gay satanist announced to our class back in high school, those that subscribe to the belief are more concerned with self interest than anything else. IE: I want to do this therefore it's ok. Give into temptation etc
Contrast this with Christianity, where essentially one may want to commit an act such as thievery but the Lord says it is wrong, therefore it is wrong.
That sorta thing can instill morals which can help prevent degeneracy.

The problem comes when that book of legislation distracts from the true true. Which is to know thyself first. A person who seeks wisdom from within never considers taking that which isn't his to begin with. IMO

I guess we could settle the debate by simply asking the Pope. Maybe when he isn't busy condoning child rape he will give us an answer.

I’m no fan of this Pope but I think it might be a bit of a stretch to say he condones it. You can say the entire issue was and is mismanaged, even criminally so, but condone is a bridge too far.

Sorry Boar ed. My post was intended to speak in more general terms, not necessarily your post. Just a lot of crazy stuff floating around out there. I’m sure Christianity sounds crazy to many. Thanks for the hunting tip but not exactly ESP.

Hey man, I'm not trying to be too far out of line here or anything and I know that NOBODY wants to hear this...But yes, he condones it. He has stated that he himself is partially responsible for this entire mess, has said he wants to retire, and continues to try and use his office to protect these predators from the law.

This isn't an opinion. It's frickin black and white.

What's our purpose here in this situation and who are our Gods?
I believe we are all gods. I believe consciousness (god) was 'whole' at the beginning, before the big bang. The big bang exploded from this consciousness is it is apart of everything that is or will exist in this universe. String theory shows the science of this that could be possible (plus so much more that I cannot go into at this time). So essentially, all life/creation will merge back into this 'oneness' at the end of time. And then the cycle will repeat itself out again forever (???).

If there is a point to life, it is love and knowledge (truth). But life may not have a point, other than for the universal consciousness to experience all that can and will be, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I also think that there is levels to this and the next level for all of us is something bigger and better.

This video sums it up pretty good I think.

Pretty sure he did. But in any case, as the good book tells us, "you'll know a tree by its fruit" and the dude is literally using his office to shield predators from prosecution. He's been caught out in it numerous times now.

Hell, just the other day the Vatican's chief finance guy got busted for this shite. #3 in charge at the Vatican.

They're all going down, dude.

This is what they call one of them synchronicities. Almost like ESP or something.

The Director and Deputy Director of the Vatican Press Office have resigned today.

Retarded. In 58 B.C., Julius Caesar wrote:

quote:

“All the Britons, without exception, stain themselves with woad, which produces a blueish tint; and this gives them a wild look in battle.”

Caesar, Commentaries on the Gallic War, V, 12-15.

Moreover, Melville's first book was Typee, written in 1846, apparently before he forgot there was a word for blue:

quote:

"What strange visions of outlandish things does the very name spirit up! Naked houris—cannibal banquets—groves of cocoanut—coral reefs—tattooed chiefs—and bamboo temples; sunny valleys planted with bread-fruit-trees—carved canoes dancing on the flashing blue waters—savage woodlands guarded by horrible idols—HEATHENISH RITES AND HUMAN SACRIFICES."

Lay off the weed, freethinkers.

My apologies, I relayed that story from memory in a rush while looking for information for another thread. I got some of the details crossed.

Hmm. I'll have to draft an email to those guys at businessinsider and tell them they're all retarded.

Thanks for the value add, Mr non-weed-smoker.
