Waffle house grits suck arse fyi
Plain grits suck. I put chicken stalk, heavy cream, butter, salt and pepper in mine
Then a meat is good. Like shrimp with drippings from the pan or pork belly or sausage etc.

usually,just butter, black pepper and salt.
But when I want to live high on the hog, I cook in some bacon bits, and sharp cheddar.

Butter, salt, and tabasco.
I eat my eggs over easy, and if my grits come on the plate, instead of in a bowl on the side, I will mix the creamy, runny egg yolks in as well.

Similar except I place eggs 1 at a time in the bowl, pop the yolks so they run in the grits, and mix. Then eat the mix.

Cook at your house.
Dazzle the yanks with eggs, grits, taters, bacon n cheese and put in a Styrofoam cup.
Serve with coffee.
Grits at wh aren't what how their intro to grits should be served. If going, double up the hash browns like normal folk do.....and cover them with ketchup

I've noticed Yankees love Waffle House since it reminds them of their diners they love so much.
