Still — both heads are capable of attacking and biting and both mouths can send potentially deadly venom to their victims.

A distant cousin of mine (notorious in the family for not being the sharpest knife in the drawer) once found a two headed rattlesnake.

He kept it in an aquarium in his home in Mississippi and had found a collector in New York who was willing to pay good money for it. But he was worried the poor thing might starve before he could ship it to the guy and get paid.

So he went to the pet store and bought the biggest rat they had and put it in there with the snake; thinking, naturally, that it would be more then enough to tide the snake over.

And when he came back two hours later, as everyone can guess, he found the snake dead and the rat happily chowing down on the poor reptile's corpse. I haven't seen him in twenty years but I understand he still complains about losing that snake to this day.

I think it's pretty cool personally. Why kill it?

That's pretty bad. I mean, I feel pity on that creature. Its life won't be easy.

I don't hate or fear snakes, they're large enough to see easily and in the case of rattlesnakes, they have the courtesy and wisdom to offer a warning.

These disgusting bastards will do no such thing.
