Travel advice from my sec rant baws

Heading south today through KY, TN, and AL to FL. Can anyone recommend a town in Alabama to stop for the night. Looking for safe with affordable place. Also, anything you baws recommend stopping to see? Was thinking about going west on way home to LA then up through Arkansas and back to the North. Wife's been bitching for me to find a place, hook it up

Yeah was thinking probably northern AL. Our rental in Florida isn't until tomorrow.

Guntersville is in north Alabama
Eufuala is south of Auburn I think so you could pull in and see Auburn while heading to Panama City
I think Fort Walton Beach is the best part of the redneck riviera of Florida, not too far from Panama City, so you're not going out of your way - and Destin is right there and okay I guess

Get a room at the Budget Inn. (Mention lil Gat and receive 10% off)
Dine in at Churches chicken after dark.
Wrap up the night with some cocktails at Club Entourage. Clap dem cheeks contest on Saturdays if you want to enter the ole lady.
Stay a couple of days to soak up all the sights the city has to offer.
